Mid November chill is settling in. Heat turned on, leaves picked up…but still lots of time for outdoor play!

Thanksgiving & Christmas reservations are full. Only a couple kennels left for NYE!

Long time great friends sent their pups to us for the weekend. Their family is hosting a “happily ever after” party as their daughter got married this past July in beautiful Idaho - so much love to celebrate❤️!

We will join them later to toast a happy life together 🥂 & for now enjoy playtime with Malcolm & Blue this afternoon 🐾!

🛁 ✂️ Happy International Pet Groomer Appreciation Day! 🛁 ✂️

Today we celebrate Callie Burden with Kip’s White Dog Inn Grooming ! With over 5 years of experience, she is our solo groomer with a full client list! She also does end-of-board baths (when available) and offers nail trims when dogs are boarding in our care!

Join us in appreciating Callie’s talent & love for her clients 🐾❤️!

✨ It’s Saturday…and time to shine on our staff! ✨

If you have been to the Inn, there is a good chance that you have met Callie! She has been with us from the beginning, as she is the “family” in our family-business!

Callie’s love for all animals started early as since she was 1 she has grown up with goldens! In her younger years, she took horse back riding lessons & has always been very involved in the rescue work that we do as a foster home. She has even been a part of delivering two puppy litters!

Today, she is our self-taught groomer of 5 years who specializes in golden retrievers along with shepherds and labs. She also took on our Kennel Manager role. Along with working shifts in our facility, she takes care of all email communications & making sure all vaccination paperwork is up-to-date!

In her free time (🤪), she loves taking training classes with her dogs while making sure each are getting enrichment, trail walks & lots of her attention. She volunteers with her trained Therapy Dogs, Kiplee & Honey, as much as she can. Plus she has cats too 🙄 🐈‍⬛ 🐈!!

If you ever have a question, just ask Callie! She is our dog expert who can talk-the-talk regarding food, training, age appropriate vax, dog ideas/suggestions on most anything you throw at her!

Fun Fact #1: even though her favorite breed is a Golden Retriever, she would love to own a long-haired black German Shepherd one day.

Fun Fact #2: she can slay the northern pike while on summer vacation! 🎣

We are thankful for Callie - say 👋 to her next time you stop by the Inn!

We are enjoying this beautiful fall weather, but we know the cooler temps will be arriving soon 😞! Our staff has been busy making our list of “winterizing projects”…from getting all the leaves picked up to getting the shovels out! Being prepared is always important & helps things run smoother around here!

Happiness has arrived at the Inn in the form of 40 Golden Retrievers! 😍 Today is our annual Golden Gathering (invite only) & we are living the “life is golden” quote🐾❤️! Stay tuned for more photo fun!

Today we are celebrating National Small Business Day! A day that celebrates the self-employed and those who start their own businesses with a passion for their idea! 🐾❤️🐾🙌 We thought today would also be a great time to share with you our NEW Enrichment Playroom! A project that’s been in the works for many months & one we gave hints about early winter & a few weeks ago! It is a perfect indoor area for small group play, sheltered out of the wind/rain & also a play area for dogs that prefer some 1:1 time with staff! We love what we do but more importantly, we love investing back in areas that make our clients happy🐾😍! A special thank you to my brother, sister-in-law & Booker who helped bring this vision to reality!
