🌟 We are GROWING and looking to welcome 1-2 part-time rockstars to our team…just in time as we head into our busy season! 🌟

Do you have a passion for animal care? Consider yourself a dog-whisperer? Appreciate the different personalities in dog breeds? Have experience in reading dog behaviors?

If you answered YES to any of the questions above, we are adding to our Kennel Assistant staff and are looking for the right fit to represent our small business! This would be someone who is self-motivated, dependable, hard-working and enjoys animals of all sizes, breeds & personalities! Someone who can work independently and provide our high-quality pet care while following our protocol of keeping them safe and secure at our facility.

Daily duties might include (but not limited to!):
🦴 feeding animals, including administrating medications
🧽 cleaning/sanitizing all kennel spaces
💩 exterior cleaning (including picking up poo!)
🚮 taking out trash
🍴 washing dishes
🚶‍♀️walking/exercising animals
🎾 providing supervision to small playgroups
🚽 pottying all dogs
🪣 basic facility upkeep/cleaning
🗯️good customer service/communication to our clients at drop offs/pick ups
🐈 care for our feline guests too!

These are part time positions (this is not a seasonal job) ranging from 10-18 hours a week. For the right fit, it may be able to grow into additional hours.
🐾 MUST be available to work weekends and varied weekday hours.
🐾 Shifts typically start at 7am & 2pm and are 4-5+ hours in length depending on our capacity
🐾 Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have transportation.
🐾 Dog handler & animal care experience preferred, but not required.
🐾 On-Site Training provided. Completion of Canine CPR Certification required after probationary period and within first 6 months (paid for by the Inn).
🐾 Must be able to lift 50 # and have the physical stamina to handle high-energy, active dogs, including dogs over 100
🐾 Hourly pay will be competitive, based on experience.

Kiplee is enjoying the warmer temps, beautiful sunshine & lounging her afternoon away!

This weather reminds all of us of the summer days ahead…including camping getaways, trips up-north, graduation celebrations, 3-day holidays, fishing trips, weddings & so much more! NOW is the time to book your dogs/cats stay while you are away enjoying summer vacay (before we book up)!

A couple things to keep in mind:

🐾 We are already about 80% booked for Memorial Day weekend & 4th of July weekend
🐾 Our facility is fully CLOSED 7/7-7/13 (NOTE our inhome care closes 7/3)
🐾 Always be aware of our Cancellation Policy when making your reservation, especially for holidays (highlighted on our website)
🐾 Reservations should always be made via email (or text if you have our personal cell phone #). Please be patient & allow 24-48 hours for email response. We run a lean staff & spend most of our hours out with our clients, not sitting in front of our computer:)
