Hey Everyone! We need your help in finding a new home for Oliver! Meet Oliver! 💕 ⚠️Oliver needs a new home or foster ASAP ⚠️ Hes currently in a boarding kennel until he finds his foster or forever home 🥺 ⚡️Oliver is high energy and accidentally dislocated and fractured his mom’s shoulder running after a bird when she wasn’t looking. He needs to find a new home with someone younger and more able bodied who can handle his high energy and love for adventure. Do you resonate with his FOMO and love for adventure 🏔? 💓 Oliver is a 1 year old 44 pound male neutered Aussie mix. He’s SUPER smart! Learns FAST! 💨 🚴‍♀️🚴🏾 🐕 He’d make a great companion for someone looking to mountain bike, off-leash hike or get into sports with a dog because he loves to run and play! He’s a really great player and is his best when he has an outlet for playing. ☠️ He’s learning how to have an ‘off’ switch inside and outside and struggles with arousal and frustration because of his breed and due to a near death experience where he went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated. He weighed only 11 lbs. at the time. Vets said he was a little fighter…a miracle for sure! 🙏🏾 🐶 Oliver is super sweet. He does sometimes get jumpy and nipping so a home without young kids is ideal. Oliver would do well in a home with another medium to low energy dog, unsure about cats or farm animals. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 He’s slow to warm up to new people but once he acclimates to them he never forgets and is super sweet. 🦮 Oliver is working on his leash training because he’s a big puller from being hyper aroused and nervous outside. You can see in this video his potential to be calm on a leash. 🚗 He rides well in the car, sleeps in a crate well and over night. Oliver does not destroy or chew up furniture. He’s potty trained and knows sit, down, come, OK, leave it, off, all done, enough, wait, out, place, uh-uh-uh
