Super Sweet AQHA gelding available for full or 1/2 lease at Hillcrest Stables. “Blazing Slippers” aka Romeo is a solid walk/trot/jog show horse. Always in the ribbons. Yes he does canter, his lope isn’t consistently there yet. This horse is a gem and would love to find a rider as his owner has moved up. Message for more info. On farm lease only.

Today we lost one of the most important parts of our lives. My beloved Stormy aka “Chance of Showers”. Stormy came to me over 20 years ago as a lesson pony at Fox Horn Farm. He went on to be used by many of our amazing trainers around Vermont. He even had an article written about him in Chronicle of the Horse. He taught hundreds of littles weather it be in the dressage ring, hunter jumper ring, or at an open horse show. This summer he went to his last show and won his kid many blue ribbons and even champion of thier division. We had decided that was his last show and he was to be retired. No one would know that a few short months later he would leave us. Thank you Stormy for nothing but amazing memories and a remarkable job well done. You will be missed so much. I love you my sweet boy. Please feel free to post a picture or write about how Stormy touched your lives. Reat easy best boy.
