Valor is a trained and active working Explosives Detection K9. He has several titles in the AKC venue and training in PSA foundations. Valor has high prey drive with nice drive channeling in the bite work setting. Performs hard pushing grips in the bicep/tricep with good possession. Environmentally stable, people/dog social and nice off switch in the home. Valor has a high toy drive with medium/high food drive. He excels at Fast Cat, lure coursing and loves to swim. Clever Girl Blue

Blue is a petite female averaging 47lbs and standing at 21” tall at the shoulders. She is an active demo dog & currently training for PSA. She has high food and prey drive, extreme toy drive. Blue has displayed confidence, stability and quick recovery in several environments. She has a beautiful off switch in the home and settles nicely but activates quickly for work. She is a very fast, twitchy dog and reckless for a toy with zero self preservation. She is pushy, engages very naturally with handler and is social/neutral to people and neutral to other dogs in public settings.

Maple is a Belgian Malinois from primarily NVBK lines with a BRN number. Maple stands 23” tall at the shoulders and ranges 53-57lbs. Maple is an all around sport dog. She has extremely high food drive, high toy drive and high prey drive. She has shown in the NADD and received a Dock Senior (DS) title. Maple holds a personal best, jumping in the elite level, at 24’6 in the dock sports. When it comes to protection, Maple excels at hard grips with a pushing behavior under decoy pressure. She has achieved her PSA-PDC with a score of 56.5/65 in the obedience portion and 79/90 in the protection portion, totaling a score of 135.5/155. Maple has shown very high hunt drive. She has started imprinting on explosives in the detection field. Possesses solid environmentals. Maple has a very nice off switch in the home and knows when it’s time to work. She is people and dog neutral when out in a public setting. Her favorite thing to do is obedience, specifically focus heeling with her handler.

Volkan is a KNPV Malinois. He has high energy, high toy drive and extremely high food drive. His environmentals are solid. He is potty trained and crate trained. He has medium hunt drive, I believe it could be higher if given the time to mature along with continuous training. Has a high prey drive and tends to lean more towards civil work. Currently is on a chomp sleeve with hard and pulling grips. Does well taking pressure from the decoy. With work, his grips could be formed into pushing behaviors. Does well for baths, grooming, force dryer and biweekly nail trims. Does well wearing any training equipment such as rex specs, harnesses, muzzles, and collars. Loves swimming and jumping off a boat dock. He is neutral with people and other dogs. He is a more independent dog. Was raised and been around male dogs the most and does well. Has a nice off switch in the home after all physical and mental needs are met.

Needs work on traveling in a car or would do great in a dog trailer. Has some car reactivity. Would be best in a bigger crate at home or a kennel run to give him more space.

Volkan knows the basics of a focus heel, flip into heel, recall, place, climb(2 feet on touch pad), sit, down, stand, stay and release word of “Break.” He understands crate and door manners before being released. Knows marker words of good(duration), yes and no. Almost all commands are in German. Ecollar and prong collar conditioned/trained.

I believe Volkan would excel as a Dual Purpose K9, PSA, dock sports and other bite sports.

There will be a sale contract that must be signed before Volkan is picked up or shipped. Breeder would like to remain in contact with new owner to receive updates.

Big things are happening in the next couple weeks. I took a job at AMK9 to be an Explosives K9 Handler in the Chicago O’Hare airport and cargo areas. I fly out to NC for 6 weeks of training and to be assigned a K9. Should be back the middle of October to start working in the field.

I saw this on Instagram and wanted to repost it. It’s so true. I see people all the time getting Malinois for pets then complain they get into things and bite them. It’s a WORKING BREED. If you have no interest/desire to WORK them and to fulfill their needs, DON’T get one. Most people shouldn’t own dogs in general. Do your research.

I went to work a client’s puppy yesterday. I evaluated her as a bite work prospect. I think, as of right now, I want to wait until she’s done teething and her are adult teeth are in to re-evaluate her. Also, her drive should be matured more to make a proper assessment of her workability.

I love my Demanet Competition bite suit! It’s really comfortable and easy to move in, even though it’s not fully broken in yet. I’ve tried on Demanet, ALM and Euro Joe suits before. I’d have to say Demanet is by far my favorite!
