I've received numerous inquiries regarding availability, but unfortunately, I don't have any stock at the moment. Due to life and family obligations taking precedence, my breeding efforts have been temporarily hindered. However, I will attempt breeding with this batch. This pair has successfully bred for me in the past and carries blue, Bulgarian green, and surprisingly albino, which I honestly do not know the origin of. As a breeder, I should have in-depth knowledge of these fish, but there's always room for surprises for outcross to outside unfamiliar bloodline to bring in new genes that the original bloodline does not already have. For my breeding program I am at the clean-up process f2 with these eggs. Hopefully, I'll have some available soon. I'll keep everyone updated.

Update on the albino project

How's everyone doing? Finally an update of our angelfish breeding project! First off I want to shoutout to Joe Boston for being a great friend for preserving and returning my bloodline back to me after I lost it. I'll be upgrading this bloodline by infusing it to an imported half-black bloodline. Sure he's not perfect with an obvious defect but that's what breeders do, get rid of them through breeding. Ultimately creating blue zebra half-black veil, hopefully the offsprings retain the swallow tail and red-eye trait.

Friday fish fries update, 3 weeks old! Their growth rate is much different than angelfish. Their size is all over the place despite giving them the whole 40 breeder. Some are triple the size of others. It seems angelfish grows more consistently compare to bettas.

Video version, the beginning of something great! These guys are really taking off! I can already see half of them have the classic metallic skullcap as seen in blue angelfish fries. The other half does not have them. The store owner told me that only 20% of them will be blue rim like the parents. I wonder how the genetics of these bettas will play out. Stay tune and find out!

They are finally big enough to eat their first bbs! They are currently half the size of new born angelfish wigglers. I'd say maybe the most they can eat is 3 bbs max.
