This beautiful rescue went from reactive and scared to total pro. No longer will you see this girl pulling at the leash and reacting to everything around her. We built confidence by exploring new places, sounds, and textures, and now Birdie’s rocking her obedience on and off-leash vibes! 🏆

🌟Penny takes on Milwaukee! 🎉
Meet Penny the corgi, who received the gift of training before the holidays. We tackled reactivity to humans and dogs, addressed resource guarding, improved command follow-through, managed separation anxiety, and mastered the art of settling – not just in public spaces but also at home, a common challenge for herding/working breeds.
From reactive to a well-behaved, go-anywhere dog (her mom’s goal), we even ventured into downtown dog-friendly spots, stores, breweries, and beyond! 🐾💫 Penny is now ready to live her best and most fulfilling life right along side her human best friend!

Reflecting on 2023, I feel incredibly blessed for another successful year working with amazing dogs and knowing that I truly changed lives. However, as reflections go, there’s always room for improvement and the admin side of things just isn’t my forte, but that brings me to some exciting news!
Meet Brittany (and Glacier 🐾🐶), the newest additions to the K9 Kassidy team! They have officially completed their training and are ready to hit the ground running! Brittany’s here to tackle client inquiries, do some awesome marketing, answer pre-board questions, and schedule bookings ensuring a quicker and smoother experience. This means I can focus more on giving my time and undivided attention to the dogs currently in my care.
To those who waited a bit too long for an email or call – my sincere apologies. Running the business solo has been a journey with some bumps along the way , but with Brittany on board, I’m excited to enhance your experience, from that first inquiry to years of updates on your pup’s adventures down the road! 🌟

Meet Juniper! She is an adolescent golden retriever who just graduated my board and train program. Some of the things we worked on were:
-leash manners
-reactivity to dogs
-impulse control (golden retriever 🤪)
-confidence building
-barking/reactivity in the home
-full on/off leash obedience
-and proofing all of her behaviors in public environments so she can be a go-everywhere dog!

Meet Nala the beagle mix, with a smile so contagious I couldn’t pick just one photo! She joined my behavior modification board and train program to work on on and off leash obedience, overall reactivity - especially to dogs, severe separation anxiety and crate training. We were able to teach her how fun and rewarding learning is, establish boundaries, how to RELAX, and now she can go out to patios, Lowe’s and more dog friendly adventures safely! Miss you Nala!!! 🥰
Meet Omega the Belgian Malinois! This handsome guy came for my board and train program earlier this year for a few weeks to work on human/dog reactivity/aggression, neutrality, overall manners and impulse control, and e-collar conditioning. We have done follow-ups to continue to work on his territorial tendencies! He is a very smart pup…perhaps too smart! 😉Love you Omega! ❤️
Meet Vader the Sheepadoodle! He attended my board and train program early this fall where we worked on all on/off leash obedience, distraction training, and some ESA training! Vader came to me because I trained his sister, Raven the aussiedoodle, last year, and she is a full-time working facility dog! Love these sweet doods ❤️

Meet Bear the rescue German shepherd! He joined my board and train program this summer to work on severe reactivity to humans and dogs, anxiety, and how to feel safe in the world. He has come such a long ways and can now go out and about anywhere in the world and be happy and safe. Miss you Bear!

Meet Mash and his contagious smile! 🤩 Mash came to my board and train program this summer shortly after being adopted! His parents wanted a go-everywhere, patio pup - so we did just that! Patios, coffee shops, beer gardens - Mash became the best patio pup in Milwaukee!

You wouldn’t even think of driving off without your child in a proper carseat or (hopefully) without putting on your seat belt - but what about your dog?
Properly transporting your pup is not only extremely important for your safety but for theirs as well. A dog loose in a vehicle becomes a projectile that can seriously injure or even kill you, passengers and itself if in a crash. While in my care, your dog will always travel in a Ruff-Land Kennels. These kennels absorb energy if there were to be a crash and are designed with safety and stability in mind. They are rollover and rear crash tested.
We can all agree how cute it is to see a dog sticking it’s head out the window, but next time you’re leaving with your pup, at least take the time to consider, is it worth the risk?
Meet Leia! She attended my board and train this summer. From the day her parents rescued her, she was a very fearful and anxious pup and that eventually escalated to fear reactivity to both people and dogs. We worked on building confidence with new people, overall anxiety and reactivity, as well as off-leash reliability so she’s able to decompress and just be a dog!

She came all the way from Chicago and is well on her way to a successful board and train! She arrived dog aggressive and reactive after attending other failed board and train programs, like many dogs, we worked through building conference and the sweet side of her we always knew was there is shining through!
I’m so excited to see the adventures she’ll now get to go on with her mom!
Meet Kylo! He attended my board and train program this summer to work on a long history of resource guarding…from his bones to space to cardboard boxes! While with me, we also worked on over-all anxiety and exposure to different triggers, and incorporated some much needed structure!

Meet Zazu the Pitbull! He came to my board and train program for a few weeks this summer to work on human and dog reactivity/aggression, anxiety/insecurity, and crate training. Zazu would react and lunge on walks, in the elevator, or when people came into the home. Living in downtown Chicago, he needed to work through these issues. Now, he’s a happier, more confident pup that can go out into the world and mom has much more control! Miss you Za!!!
