As part of this partnership, Off Leash K9 is giving back to the community, by offering FREE group classes right at the park!

The classes cover topics such as dog park etiquette, canine body language, training tools, agility introductions, and Ask-a-Trainer sessions. Off Leash K9 is also hosting paid group obedience classes for those looking for a more in-depth training experience.

🐾 A Friendly Reminder from MKE Dog Park! 🐾

As we enter winter, here are a few friendly reminders to help keep the park clean, safe, and fun for everyone, please remember:

✨ Well-socialized dogs — please ensure that your dog is well socialized and plays friendly with other dogs before entering the park
✨ Pick up after your dog — let’s keep those paws (and shoes!) happy.
✨ Take your toys + balls home with you — any left-behind items will be cleared out and disposed of.
✨ Winterization — the water source has been turned off for the winter to protect it from freezing. Please help us keep the park clean and bring water for your dog.

Thank you for helping us keep the park a place we’re all proud of. Milwaukee pups (and their humans) are the best! 🐶

Grateful for Your Support 🧡

What a year! In September 2024, we broke ground on Downtown’s first dog park — and this August, we proudly cut the ribbon on Milwaukee’s newest community gem.

Just three months in, the response has been incredible. Thank you to the 400+ sponsors, donors, partners, and supporters who joined us for the grand opening!

Our new park features 23,000+ sq. ft. of community space, fenced-in play areas for both large and small dogs, water stations, and even a new segment of Riverwalk leading right to the park.

A huge thank-you to our title sponsor, Fromm Family Foods, whose support — along with their upcoming Foxtown Landing development — is helping shape a vibrant future for this area.

This Thanksgiving, we’re especially grateful for everyone who believed in this project: Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21; Historic Third Ward BID #2; our community partners; public officials; local businesses; philanthropic organizations; and thousands of donors.
