Goose & Merlin. Living their best forever lives!

Both of these guys were rescued from the streets of Doha, Qatar in 2023 with absolutely zero chance of finding a forever home in Qatar.

They are definitely living the life of luxury now!🩵🍌

Oh, what a day! Although we're not open to the public yet, we had a blast "testing" out the new Cat Lounge.

Thank you to all the folks who came out yesterday to pet cats and help us wrap our HUGE project coming out in 2025. For updates and announcements be sure to follow on Instagram. Yep, the cat is kind of out of the bag, our international rescue efforts are being featured in an upcoming documentary film!🎞️🐱🌍

We know y'all are just as invested in Birch (now Emerald) and Nash as we are. Look at them! Still attached at the tail.🥹Both cats are loving the two little girls in the home who constantly give them snuggles.

Folks ask if I miss my fosters when they're gone. The truth is I put so much time and love into giving them the best start to life so that they can be amazing companions. As much as I may miss them, happy updates more than make up for it. AND I know there's a whole list of kittens who are waiting for my help. Finding great homes for our cats opens the door for more cats to find homes!

Congrats to Emerald and Nash for landing in an amazing home. Enjoy those cuddles, guys!

Progress!🔨🪚🧰👷👷‍♀️

After changing contractors and architects, which was all for the best, we're happy to share the amazing progress our new contractors are making on building the future Sip & Purr...and boy, these guys and gals are working hard! Hats off and a big paw salute to the folks ! 🥳🐾(it's possible we may have even converted a few of the contractors into cat enthusiasts)

Floors, cabinets, countertops, and finishing touches are in the near future. We can't wait to see cats roaming our new Cat Lounge and TWO private cat-only backrooms!

So much time, effort, and thought has went into building the space exactly how we wanted it and EXACTLY how it's going to help us save even more cats -- at the end of the day, that's what this project is all about.

We're eagerly awaiting the finish line, just like all of you -- and our cats. Except for Nero & Nacho. They're pretty content in foster care.😬

As of right now, completion is scheduled for next month. We're doing everything in our power for a seamless reopening as soon as possible.

Besides the re-grand opening of Sip & Purr, we have other exciting news to share with you when the time is right. We've been part of a huge ongoing project for the past two years and we can't wait to share the news with everyone.👏🏻

We can't thank all of our supporters enough. During our construction we've been able to keep our foster and adoption program going strong. As of today, every single one of our foster cats have found homes. Don't worry, kitten season is already upon us and I'm sure our partner shelter will fully restock us.🐱🍼🤪

Congrats to Norah!🥂

Our sweet girl, Norah, who did a superb job of raising not just her own kitten, but also a surrogate kitten, found her forever home. (ICYMI Nash & Birch, Norah's kittens, also found a home - together!)

It makes me so happy that Norah will have a home of her own without having to share the spotlight with her kiddos - although she had absolutely no problem doing just that.🩷

Happy adoption, Birch & Nash!

We're thrilled that these two *kinda* siblings can continue growing together. They certainly adore each other. And now they have a whole family to dote on them!

During their adoption, the adopter mentioned she already had a name picked out for Birch. When she said she was planning on naming her Emerald, I got a little teary-eyed. Emerald was the name of my beloved dog who passed away in June. It's a beautiful name and I'm so glad Emerald's memory will live on in Baby Birch.💚

These two kittens came from such different circumstances. Nash was literally being born as his mom, Norah, arrived at the shelter. Thank you, Tiffini for catching the little guy.🤣And Birch was added to the family a few weeks later when she was orphaned at just three days old. Together they bring so much love to the world.

During my travels there's always one cat who reaches right through my soul and grabs a hold of my heart. During this trip to Beirut, Tigourios is the one.💕

Tigourios was most likely someone's pet who was dumped at a colony that Hana from Whisk 'n' Whiskers manages. Tigourios has been part of the colony for over two years and all things considered is living his best street life. There's a restaurant across the street from his feeding station where Tigourios has become a frequent flyer charming all the guests and soaking up as many cuddles as he can. This guy knows how to work a crowd!

Man, what I wouldn't give to scoop this guy up and bring Tigourios home with me. Next time.🤞

I was able to meet these sweet guys and what a delight they are!

Sunny & Reda were originally discarded on the streets in 2022. They were rescued by when Sunny was attacked by another animal and Reda developed anemia and virus-like symptoms.

Both boys are so friendly and had an extremely hard time surviving the streets. Sunny & Reda were accustomed to daily human affection and honesty had zero survival instincts.

Despite 's resources already being stretched thin, she decided to take responsibility for Sunny & Reda and sponsor their stay at a cage-less cat rescue and sanctuary.

Although the stress of daily nearby airstrikes has been unbearable, Sunny & Reda are the sweetest, most personable gentlemen you'll ever meet.

Sunny & Reda have been waiting for a home since 2022, BUT if they don't find a home, Sunny & Reda are promised a space on Sip & Purr's next Beirut rescue mission. 🧡🤍🧡🤍

These two are so adorable and impossible not to fall in love with.😘🐈🐈

Looking for a snuggle buddy to stay warm with?🔥 This little lady is still searching for her home. Norah is the most chill cat I've ever met. I honestly can't recall ever hearing Norah make a sound -- except purring.💕 Norah would make a great companion for any home including first time pet parents. She's so calm and loving and is the easiest cat I've ever cared for. Bonus -- Norah loves to sleep with her humans but completely observes personal space!💤✅ Can't adopt? Please share! These videos were taken by my husband, who is a pilot for @southwestair. He's been flying in and out of @flylaxairport for the last 48 hours, safely transporting passengers to where they need to be. The destruction in the Los Angeles area is unbelievably sad and devastating. I can't begin to imagine what the residents, heroic firefighters and first responders, pets, and wildlife have endured and will continue to endure for the foreseeable future. It's truly unimaginable and heartbreaking. Our continued thoughts are with those who have been affected by this tragedy -- humans and animals alike. Typically there's very little warning when these types of events strike. In the last year, the United States has seen unprecedented natural disaster - wildfires, flooding, hurricanes, blizzards, and tornadoes. PLEASE, make sure your pet is microchipped and you have an evacuation and pet recovery plan should you find yourself in this situation. Check on your friends and family in affected areas, donate to reputable sources if you can, and please remember to be kind to each other.🙏

Well, it's a possibility that I'm totally being played by a six-week-old kitten. Birch is the PICKIEST eater. Not only has it been a challenge to find foods Birch likes, but she also prefers that I hand-feed her. Birch is totally capable of eating on her own -- a couple of those razor teeth have pierced my fingers in between bites of shredded chicken, BUT I want to be 💯 sure Birch is receiving the nutrition she requires, so hand-feeding it is!🤷🏻‍♀️🤦‍♀️

It never ceases to amaze me how tiny helpless kittens can turn into cute little terrors so darn fast! Ollie, Andy, and Chunk are growing so fast! Although they're still too young for adoption, enjoy their progress, just like I am! Keep growing, kiddos!
