Big Thanks to the Girl Scout Troop from St. Mary's for visiting Rescue Gang last week! These incredible young women brought dog toys & even made some adorable collar for our pups! It's heartwarming to see the next generation showing so much kindness & care for animals in need. Your creativity, compassion & generosity are inspiring, & our rescue dogs are feeling the love thanks to you! 💜🐾

My name is 💫Kayla💫2 years old & a short-legged sturdy 48 lbs, with an infectious grin & the sweetest spirit. I'm always up for a good time! 💜house trained 💜crate trained 💜leash trained 💜great with bigger dogs 💜fetch buddy 💜I love all people 💜enjoyed meeting kids. 🥰I pretty much treat every minute of every day as a new adventure. But I've learned that even gorgeous girls like me need self-care, & I'm embracing this whole take naps & get belly rubs thing. I'm still a young dog so I need my exercise & do best when I have a good mix of structured exercise & relax time. I'm super smart too! Miss Mylie a new arrival! She is so soft, sweet & loving but don’t let that fool you…this girl is one courageous little lady! She was “dumped” & left to defend for herself. Specifics are not known but she certainly can hold her own. She was attacked by another dog & lost an eye but that didn’t stop her. On she marches looking for all the love in the right places & avoids the wrong places. All she needs is love love love & maybe a little food sometimes. Hello!! My name is Blondie! I'm about 8 pounds chi mix. I have a big personality though!!! It takes me time to warm up but once I do all I want is to snuggle!! I'm ok with other dogs, but I'd prefer little friends like me. I'm fine with cats & kids make me nervous if they come at me too fast. Poncho is a 8-month-old, neutered male. He loves everything about life & expresses it through facial expressions. He lives with 3 resident dogs in his foster home & 3 children, & he loves them & shows respect. He keeps his crate clean, but will protest for a few minutes when he is asked to go in.
