Feline festive! 🌲 Even with blowing ❄️😼

Not a cat post but we had to share the awesome work our staff did helping out a mom duck and her 10 babies. Mom was nesting in the back of our building on a balcony and she decided it was time to leave the nest on the day we discovered this group. When mom leaves the nest, instinct takes over and the babies all followed. Unfortunately it was a long drop from the balcony onto a driveway. (None were injured) We managed to safely corral all babies and put them in a box. Mom watched nearby and we were able to get them across Water Street to the river. Mom followed and kept a close eye on her kiddos, can’t blame her. There was a male duck waiting in the water when mom hopped in. 🦆 All babies made it to the water and off they went. If you are along the river walk and see a duck family, it just might be the ones who started out at 236 N. Water Street!
