nt for a few hours. This alleviates stress or anxiety on the dog's part since they will not have to go to a kennel to be boarded. I have entertained dogs for as few as 4 hours and as long as 10 days. I have traveled up to 40 miles from Milwaukee to stay with a dog. Dogs sense that they can trust me and even the shyest or most skittish dogs will act like they've known me for years. My grandpa had a the same knack with dogs and I've been told I get it from him. I have cared for many breeds of dogs small and large from a Min-Pin to a Rottweiler to a Bernese Mountain Dog! Each of them has become a good friend and welcome me into their home. I talk to them, play with them, and walk them (if they are used to that). But most important I care for all the dogs as if they were my own. My doggie day rate is very reasonable and much less than a babysitter's rate. I base my fee on how many dogs and how far I have to travel to get to their home. I charge between $30 and $50 per day for a single dog. Additional dogs are only a $10/dog/day add-on. I only accept cash, check or paypal at this time.
