Central Bark Milwaukee Westside is proud to present Ricky as our final 2024 Dog of the Month! Ricky started attending daycare with us since August of 2022 when he was just the fuzziest little ball of love. This handsome fluffy boy is such a blast to have! He is always happy and gets along with everyone and sits so nicely at all doors and gates! He is such a well mannered lad! Ricky’s best friends are BB Milo, Brandy, Betty, Woods, and Aloe! So, for all of these reasons, and many, many more, we are proud to name Ricky as our December 2024 Dog of the Month. Congratulations Ricky!

Good morning everyone,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Alayna, our beloved Assistant Manager and Groomer will be leaving us in January of 2025. Alayna has been a pivotal member of our team for the last four years and we have been SO blessed to have her! We are so excited for her moving on to a different opportunity to help further her education and career and couldn’t be more proud of her. We wish her the absolute very best in the New Year and are so grateful for the time we have shared and the time we have left with her! Make sure to book your holiday grooming appointments to get in with her before she leaves!

With every end there is a new beginning, and we are happy to announce that with Alayna’s departure you will be seeing a LOT more of Esther again as she takes over the day to day runnings of the daycare as well as returns to her previous post of being the full time groomer! You can rest assured that you and your pups will continue to be treated as family and their safety and care forever stays our number one priority!

Esther will be grooming Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s in the new year and spots will be limited so be sure to book your appointments in advance!

Smarty pants Sam loves his weekly enrichment with Alice✨

Little man Sam-a-lam is always ready to go for his weekly one-on-one enrichment sessions! This little dude is a pro sniffer and can figure out even the hardest of our puzzles! 💜 Add a one-on-one enrichment to your pup’s next day of daycare and let’s see what their snout can do!!!

Cassidy was stoked to have his one-on-one enrichment today! This handsome dude loves using snoot to sniff out treats and loved the extra special attention from Alice ♥️ Add a one-on-one enrichment to your pup’s next day of daycare!

The pointer sisters love their weekly one-on-one enrichments! These gorgeous girls are super sniffers who love to use their snouts to find treats in snuffle mats and puzzle games!! Add an enrichment or training tutor session to your pups next day of daycare for some added fun and stimulation!!

Pointer sisters, Ella and Oakley are nearly inseparable, however for their one on one enrichments we make sure they each get time to try everything on their own before doing it together. These girls love their enrichment sessions almost as much as they love each other. 🥰 Enrichment fulfills both your pup’s need for an emotional connection with us as well as their need for mental stimulation! These sessions are tailor-made to what your pup likes to do: we have lots of different puzzles and brain games for them to try, as well as bubbles or even just extra snuggles. You can also utilize these sessions for some extra one on one training! All dogs can benefit from extra enrichment (all ages are welcome 💜), but it is especially impactful for young or overly exuberant pups that you want extra tired at the end of the day! Do you have a pup who loves treats and extra attention? Ask us about adding a one on one enrichment session to their next day of daycare!

To ensure the well being of all of our guests, a comprehensive behavioral assessment is performed before any dog is placed with other dogs. This ensures that your dog is placed with a group that they are comfortable with and can play freely and safely. To promote maximum safety and comfort for all dogs, we require a one day per week commitment.
