n the 1930s. Dr. Barry Powell purchased the practice in 1978, and with the addition of doctors and support staff we outgrew the previous building (now King Road Boarding & Grooming). Construction on our 5000-sq-ft facility broke ground in the fall of 1997 and was completed in 1998. In March 2005, Dr. Kristen Shaw formed a partnership with Dr. Powell, and Dr. Shaw became the full owner of the clinic in Janary 2007.
