We absolutely love this Electric Code filly! Jizelle did a dandy job with braiding her for the very first time. Everything starts somewhere. Mane and tail are both braided.

Meet Clover (LT Ultimate Lady)

This red dun tobiano mare is one we got from her breeder Cindy Hanna. She is panel clean, open, and ready for us to breed early in 2025. She is so sweet. She was never shown.

This stallion is a top choice for us, and more people should take notice. He is a 3 time qualifier for The Run For a Million with 2 multi-million dollar riders. That they request this stallion should say a lot. His mind adapted to these riders, and he showed at a top level for both. We are breeding our top mare to him.

We have always believed that this filly had a stop built right in, but did Electric Avenue show it off while playing yesterday! This yearling by Electric Code and out of our LS Lenas Too Smart is going to be fun to start in the spring.

How many of you have horses that are not panel clean? We have an N/H, an N/P1, an N/Hrd, and an N/Gb in our herd. It wasn't known at the time, and we are so glad that we test our breeding age mares.

One great thing that we have found is the Bluebonnet Feeds Horseman's Elite Ultra Fat. It is able to be fed to each and every one of our mares and fillies. The low starch and high fat is a safer feed than many other grains.

We aren't sponsored, and it is a royal pain in the ass to order, but we stay on it, especially seeing the results in our mares.

While we may not be as active in the horse world, we have not given up. Shanon is doing much better. 4 months post hemorrhagic stroke, and we got out to Scotts Bluff National Monument to hike around the top.

What a great way to finish off the day but to see the wonderful color on our Official American Paint Horse Association bred mares all over our pens and pastures.

Recently I read a post that pushed breeders to "stay in your lane". While I understand the focus of the post, I can tell you that in our mares, whether they be halter, pleasure, reining, or cowhorse bred, one common thing you will find is that there are little to no holes in their pedigrees. That's been a focus of ours as we worked to build this program. We have a very special yearling filly that was foaled out here that we hope to push in the reining pen in a couple of years. The newest foal may make her debut this year. She is just now at weaning age.

I pray that all of you appreciate the time you have with horses and family. I do.

Phoenix just left. It's bittersweet. You hate seeing the well bred ones go, but knowing the people taking her home truly appreciate her color and lineage is a comfort. It's always nice to see them move and move up.

It is with great sadness that we take the time to announce that Turning Colors Performance Horses is no more.

With newly found difficulties, we must reduce numbers. We are offering most, and only keeping a select few back for ourselves. We will be listing the available horses here and on other websites in the coming days.

Shanon and I thank you for your follows and friendship. Changing life completely to make sure someone's health comes first is not an easy decision to make.

We knew she was N/GB, but I was curious about color. She is so dark that I doubted she was actually a bay. She is technically a tovero with the W20 included, but I am not going to change her papers.

Results are in, and not exactly what we hoped for. We will have to be very careful as we breed Miss Delta Dun It in the future. If anyone is interested in this mare, her testing is now done.
