Welcome to our new page where you can keep up with all what’s happening on our Homestead including our Ministry! If you’re not familiar with our family, my name is Courtney & my husband is Michael & we have 7 kids. We are the owners of K’s Family Homestead & have a small breeding program breeding Miniature Schnauzers. We also make Custom Projects & have That Mom’s Homestead Bakeaway. We are commit

ted to always responsibly breed with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. We are professional, responsible, and ethical dog breeders who love our dogs as part of our family. Our goals are always evolving and we’re eager to see what each new litter brings! We have one Female AKC black & white Parti Medium Standard poodle that we don’t breed at this time, we might again in the future. As of right now we only breed Miniature Schnauzers that will have absolutely beautiful colors. The Dad is a Red/Tan Salt & Pepper with a traditional coat. The Mom is a White Chocolate Wheaten with a Mega coat. (Alaska), is also dual registered with AKC & APRI. Our second Mom we have is a (Black & Silver Merle) with a Mega Coat. (Millie), is Registered with APRI only. They are all raised in our home including the puppies from birth until 8 weeks old. We are raising Chickens, and Ducks for eggs as well. We are located in Missouri out in the country. We are a Biblical Christian, God fearing Family of 9 who loves Jesus, homesteading with our Family, Breeding, including homeschooling, Creating Custom Projects "Crafting", and my favorite is “Baking from scratch” that I sell on an occasion & cook good, yummy food out of our home & soon out of our bakery/food trailer & will sell Custom projects here & there again by us as well. We love sharing about Jesus through our Ministry “His Voice Shakes The Wilderness Ministries” Psalms 29 which belongs to God; family adventures, Inspiration, verses & scriptures, pictures of our animals, including food I love cooking and my baked goods I love to bake. Someday soon I will have my Food/Bakery trailer. We will have affordable prices for all homemade baked goods and meals we cook. I don’t want to up prices just because things cost more. Just because things cost more doesn’t mean we all can afford it. A good homemade meal or yummy homemade baked treat shouldn’t cost a lot for everyone to enjoy. We completely understand since we are parents of 7. I am focusing on putting smiles on people's faces and the joy they feel eating something homemade rather than trying to make a big profit. Making a big profit isn’t how I think or do things. That isn’t how my heart is. I want to help people as much as possible. Free meals will be given to the homeless as long as we have enough on hand that day, and discounts will be given as much as we are able to. Things still do cost to make, but just know we have a big heart and love blessing people more than anything. Wanted to share what was on my heart. 💕

~I started my small in-home business back in 2014 and my small breeding program in 2019 on fb. It took time to get where I was. I know it will take time to get there again since we decided to start fresh with a new fb account together back in the middle of July after taking a break for 7 in half months from fb & took a year off from Breeding dogs and we deleted our old accounts. We just needed that fresh start & I know we will get there again soon! 🙌🏼💕

I am ready for Spring! Lol
I made a crescent roll crust with a homemade cream cheese spread veggie pizza. 😋 So yummy! Only the crescent roll crust is baked, everything else is cold except for the mushrooms.
It is topped with feta cheese, mozzarella, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, green onions, broccoli, black olives, chopped sautéed portobello mushrooms, & fresh cilantro.

She is very knowledgeable and has a very good point on animal vaccines. She has over 30 years of experience and is an AKC judge as well. We are very strict on this subject and if we had our way we wouldn’t do vaccines! Yes we get one booster vaccine for our puppies at 6 weeks before they leave at 8 weeks.

Ok, I made my final decision and I feel really good about it. We will not be removing declaws. I honestly agree with her about how God created them for a reason & it is a joint that is very important to the dog’s foot. It’s ok if you don’t agree with me, I’m not offended. But please be respectful!

Miniature schnauzers only have front dewclaws not back ones. I know our parent dogs have docked tails and dewclaws removed but I still love them. In a way I regret not leaving them natural but it’s ok. I don’t thinks it’s cruel to remove them or get their tails docked, but I personally don’t feel right about it anymore. 🐾♥️ Everyone has their own opinions on this subject and it’s ok to address them because I completely understand where you are coming from about this subject. This is what I honestly feel led doing and I need to listen to the Holy Spirit! I really feel God led me to this video to watch because I needed help on deciding which direction to go.

Getting your human newborn son circumcised is biblical and should be done. That decision should never be compared to a dog.

My Dad surprised us with a new wood stove that he had on hand! ☺️♥️ We were told the Amish will buy these stoves up and they are hard to find. It’s huge and it will warm our house up way better than our smaller one we had. My parents were over for New Year’s Eve and my Dad tried helping get a fire going for us in our old one and because it was too small and didn’t have enough room to vent properly and have a good air flow it just took forever to get started and going. 🙈 We were just used to taking forever to get it going in the 9 in half years of living here. Lol 🤪

In the many years of experience with wood stoves he has never had that much trouble getting a fire started. He came back over yesterday and surprised us with this bigger better one he had that heats up quickly once it gets started. Y’all I can even cook on top of it! Lol 🤗 Super excited about this! Thank you Dad so much for this, it truly means more than you know to us!

📌Side note: The old one still works, just smaller & needs a new vent fan on it, but works just fine without it once you get it going. Lol The new one will be coming with us when we move. The old one will go back in the house before we sale and move out.

All three Puppies will be 8 weeks tomorrow and I gave their last round of dewormer today as well. They are all bathed and ready to go see their furever families tomorrow & Saturday in their car seat carrying bags! 🤗 Second picture shows what each puppy got in their care gift bags; I just put it altogether in a basket so it can be seen before putting it in each of their bags and they each have their folders with vet records, health certificates, contract that needs signed at pick up, and puppy birth certificates. 😊🐾♥️

Yay, Tomorrow & Saturday are the days we meet families to pick up their furbaby! 🤗 Time really flew by with this litter. We will sure miss them, they are so darn cute and fun to play with & they absolutely love to be held and cuddled. They all three hear us walk in the room and will look over the wall with those adorable sweet faces, like please pick me up now! Lol 🙈🤣🤪🐾♥️

I will be giving them all baths again today and putting everything together for them to take home. It’s been a crazy busy week and I have been exhausted! ♥️🐾🤪🙈 I feel so behind on everything. Lol

Just a few Christmas Pictures with family! I love catching the kids expressions! For brunch we baked a homemade french toast bake that was better than bread pudding, just saying! 😋🤪 Lol Oooh…Then for dinner we grilled lamb chops for the first time ever and oh my goodness so tender and juicy it was on the top list of steak!! Lol We also grilled homemade chicken corn fritters with my homemade dip, fresh garlic butter green beans, and garlic potatoes. 😋 So yummy! ♥️🎄
We are Blessed to do Christmas this year! Last year we didn’t get to and you know our kids were ok with that, they are taught that Christmas isn’t about gifts because it isn’t, it’s about Jesus all year round. We baked & played games last year though and tried making it enjoyable for them as much as possible! Part of our Testimony that we will share later! 🥰

Behind on Birthdays. 🙈 Our 5th son’s 10th birthday was December 5th & our oldest son’s 15th birthday was December 8th. We have one more birthday this year to celebrate tomorrow. I can’t believe our oldest has been learning how to drive since this summer.

Today the puppies are 6 weeks old and officially weaned. **They are all Reserved**
I literally spent all day grooming all 3 puppies, plus Alaska & Millie today. 🫣 Let’s just say I’m exhausted! Lol They are so cute though! 🐾♥️
I also dewormed all of them again yesterday & today, and cleaned out the whelping box again. I put a fresh mat down after I swept & mopped, and added their water & started potty training with the litter box of pine wood pellets as well. So far they are doing good going in the litter box. Tomorrow they go for their vet appointment to get their health certificate, exam & booster. I’ll post an update & new video when we get home and settled.

Nina, Alaska & River all went to the vet today and they are doing great. I made these sniffle mats awhile back, it’s for them to find and sniff out treats. I am excited about breeding Nina again but she will be bred with a stud male standard poodle who belongs to our groomer/friend. Here is what my new Craft Room looks like so far. So much more room than I had before! Lol I have extra storage as you walk inside but still needs work so I’ll show that part on a later date. I will be moving my heat press station once we receive our Laser Machine since it will be going in that spot. Echo Bluff is definitely our go to camping spot! It is so worth the drive up here, and we can hear the sinking creek that is behind us that is so calming especially at night. It is so Beautiful here!🍂☕️
