Here at Hodes Veterinary Group, our goals are to keep your animals happy and healthy, and to provide the best possible experience when you walk through our doors. We are a multi-doctor private practice owned and operated by Dr. Kristine Conway. Emergencies may call our regular line at any time of the day. You will be helped by one of our knowledgeable staff members during office hours. Outside of

office hours, our doctor on call receives all calls and will be able to assist and advise with your emergency. Dr. Hodes started his mobile veterinary practice a few years after graduating from Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Within one year, his number of clients increased so much that he opened a store front on Rt. 46 in Mine Hill, NJ. In 1984, he moved his practice a few doors down; that has been our current location ever since. Our dedicated team of doctors and staff has continued to grow. While the majority of our patients are dogs and cats (which we love!), we also enjoy working with pocket pets, avians, exotics, and livestock. Full Time Veterinarians:
Dr. Kristine Conway
Dr. Raymond Czarnecki
Dr. Katelyn Felts
Dr. Matthew Iuliani
Dr. Kelly Kasica
Dr. Joanne Troeger

Part Time Veterinarians:
Dr. Andrea Antonelli (Every other Friday, 8AM-12PM)

Meet Willie and Butters. This 3 yr old bonded pair of brothers was adopted from us as kittens and recently came back because they were bullying their feline house mates. If you like tuxedo cats and have no cats at home, please consider adopting these two fellas. They are friendly and engaging and would be much happier in a home then caged up here. If you would like to know more about the boys, please contact the office.

Meet Stormy. He is approximately 4 yr old. He is described by the team as pantheresque; sleek tall and handsome. He is shy but once he gets to know you he is quite talkative. He is pretty good at playing fetch. If you are interested in taking the time to get this boy out of his shell, please contact the office and we can set up a meet and greet.

Fresh vegetables are a great addition to your pet's diet. But there are some you should never feed your pet including onions or garlic as they are toxic in all forms: cooked, raw, and even onion powder.

These cause damage to the red blood cells, which could cause them to burst. Toxins can also be found in rhubarb and wild mushrooms. Corn is also a common allergen among pets so you might want to avoid it as well.

Our pets can eat many of the fruits and vegetables that we eat, however some can be dangerous and should be avoided entirely.

For example, cherries are toxic to cats and dogs, and grapes/raisins can cause kidney damage. Citrus fruits like lemons, limes, grapefruit, and persimmons can cause an upset stomach.
