✨Wishlist Wednesday✨

It is Amazon prime week this week which means there are great deals! Several of our wishlist items have great discounts which means your dollars will go even further to help the kitties in need!

This week our biggest needs are cat litter and kitten kibble. These supplies are crucial to help our little kitten piles like this one stay happy and healthy.

‼️Foster families needed‼️

The calls for help ebb and flow and right now they are flowing!! We received 4 surrender calls yesterday and 6 today. Folks need help with adult cats, litters of kittens, single kittens, moms and babies, etc. You name it- we’ve got it on our waiting list. We are absolutely overwhelmed with the need for help in the community and our foster homes are full!

You don’t need a big beautiful foster room to foster. A spare bathroom or room for a cat condo, anything will do. If you can share your space for a few weeks it will give a cat or kitten the opportunity for a life off the streets. Our foster families have pets of their own, full time jobs, and kids too! It’s okay- your fosters won’t mind as long as they have a clean space and a full food bowl.

Saving Grace provides all supplies needed, vet care and we line up adopters. All you need to do is provide space in your home and your love. If you’re interested in fostering please send us a message!

Adoptable kittens! 🐈‍⬛

The adoptions have been rolling, but the kittens pour in faster than we can adopt them out! We have so many adorable, sweet and social kittens available. Take your pick! You cannot go wrong with any of these cuties.

Our kittens are currently being fostered in the Mineral Point/Dodgeville area, but adoption transports to Madison are available as needed. They are litter trained and vetted. Our adoption fee for kittens is $130 for a single kitten or $200 for a pair which includes their spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer and flea/tick preventative.

June in numbers! ☀️
This was a very exciting month because we officially had our 4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th adoption!!! In just 3 years we are thrilled that we’ve been able to change the lives of so many cats. Here’s to another month of improving the lives of our furry friends 🐈‍⬛

In order to continue to meet the demand needed in our community we need your help! There are so many ways to help. You can donate, volunteer, foster, adopt, or even just spread the word. It takes a village. Thank you for being a part of ours! 🐱

Our newest batch of kittens were fixed today and are ready for adoption! 💕 These babies are 2 months old, they are vetted and litter trained. Our adoption fee for kittens is $130 for a single kitten or $200 for a pair which includes their spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer and flea/ tick prevention. Our kittens are fostered in the Mineral Point/Dodgeville area, but adoption transports to Madison are available as needed. Check out the photo captions for additional information on each kitten.

When there are sooo many adoptable kittens how do you choose one?? We recommend finding a kitten whose personality fits what you’re looking for! Sponge Bob gets 10/10 for personality!

Meet today’s kitten of the day!

Hi! I am the kitten you are looking for! My name is Sponge Bob and I LOVE people. I want to play, sleep, and cuddle with you. I can help you make the bed, fold the laundry, or watch TV. I will greet you at the door and of course, tell you that I am starving. New people? I want to get to know them. I am 3 months old and a gorgeous brown tabby with an incredible personality. My favorite toys are a cat dancer and ball tower, but I can entertain myself with a paper bag, ping pong ball, or a spring. I get along so well with other cats that I will also probably get along with dogs although I have never been around them. I am a great eater and litter box user. My adoption fee is $130 which includes my neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer and flea/tick preventative. I am currently being fostered in Dodgeville, but adoption transports to Madison are available as needed.

Congratulations to Patches, Calypso, Cricket, Sassy, Red, Greenie, Marigold, Won KQQL Kat, Baby, Nala, Birch and Ash who were all adopted over the last couple of weeks. We are so happy for you all! 🐈‍⬛

Today is national veterinary appreciation day!! We have so many folks to thank.

First and foremost, a huge thank you to Dr. Tiffany and her team at the Madison Cat Project. MCP does nearly all of our spay/neuter surgeries. We bring 10-15 cats to them every week! They provide all of our standard care services that get out cats ready for adoption! They also work with every cat we bring them no matter how feral. Without the help MCP has offered us since day one, we wouldn’t be where we are today!

Next up, our friends at Precision Veterinary. Precision provides our wellness services for our sick cats and kittens. PV is one of the very few vets we trust to treat our most vulnerable kittens. They have provided life saving care to our kittens as young as 3 weeks old, which is almost unheard of in the veterinary field. We love that they will treat any cat, no matter how small. Precision also provides specialty services for us such as dentals, eye removal surgeries and other random procedures that pop up.

Third on the list is the wonderful Country View Vet clinic in Mineral Point. Country view has been wonderful with getting us in for last minute exams. They run our f***l samples and assist with the treatment of all the minor infections and diseases that come with rescue kitties.

Last, but certainly not least is the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. We rely on the services at the UW in a few different ways. Several of the specialists at the UW have treated rare cases for us like seizures, dermatology issues and more. We also have an amazing partnership with the vet school. The vet school provides us with free/low cost care such as spay surgeries and vaccines clinics in order to give their students opportunities to learn.

Our rescue would not be here without the help of our veterinarians and their support staff. They provide life saving treatments to cats in need and we are so appreciative of their hard work. Veterinary medicine is in high demand and it is often a thankless job. Today we want to say a big THANK YOU to all of our vets! 🐈🐈‍⬛
