Tomorrow is the big day! Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity. After a weekend of consumerism, Giving Tuesday reminds us to give back by donating to the causes that mean the most to us. 😻 Your donations are used to save the lives of our most vulnerable felines, like Spike, who is pictured here. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we were able to rescue him from underneath a trailer. He is now cozy and safe in his forever home. ❤️

As we change our focus from the season of gratitude to the season of giving, please consider Saving Grace for your end of the year giving. We are a foster based, volunteer run organization with no over head costs. The benefit of givng to small foster based rescues is that you know all of your donations are going directly to the animals in our care.

Last year, the donations we received for Giving Tuesday supported our mission for most of the year. We are counting on you to help us continue our mission in 2026. The need is great and we cannot do this alone. We are so grateful for your never ending support. 🐈‍⬛

Last minute spay/neuter appointments‼️

We have 2 spay/neuter appointments available for tomorrow. Cats need to be dropped off outside of Mineral Point tonight (Sunday) for surgery early Monday morning. Our surgery package is $80 which includes spay/neuter, distemper and rabies vaccines, microchip, dewormer, flea/tick preventative and a nail trim. This package is available for outdoor or indoor cats.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated towards Pippin’s surgery!!! It was very successful and shortly after he woke up he already started walking around on his remaining three legs. He will bounce back quickly as a little tripod kitty. 🐈‍⬛

We are so grateful to everyone that pitched in to help. We got more than enough donations to cover his surgery and ended up with enough donations to cover our entire spay and neuter bill this week! You all are amazing and we couldn’t do this without your continued support!

Follow along because in a few short weeks Pippin will be ready for his forever home! 😻

October stats 🎃

We had another very busy month with spay and neuters! All of your donations make our TNR program possible. The majority of our spay and neuters are provided to the community pro bono and we couldn’t do that without the help of all of our donors throughout the year. As we move towards end of the year giving, please consider Saving Grace so we can continue to do this work in 2026. 🐱

Pippin needs your help! 🐈‍⬛

Yesterday one of our foster parents found an injured kitten along side the road. The kitten is about 8 weeks old and healthy, but has a severely broken leg. We believe Pippin found his way into a car engine and was injured inside the car or on his way falling out of the car.

Our friends at Country View Vet in Mineral Point were able to get him in to stabilize the leg and gave him meds to help with pain and prevent infection. Unfortunately, due to the extent of the damage, the leg has to be amputated. We are so grateful that our vet team at the Madison Cat Project are going to get him in tomorrow for surgery so we can get this baby out of pain. This will be a large vet bill that we were not anticipating. Any donations will be appreciated to help us get Pippin the care he needs.

We had an incredibly successful cat cafe adoption event today! Thank you to everyone for coming out and thank you to Wild Blue Yonder Coffeehouse for being such wonderful hosts! It was so fun to see all of you getting in your cat fix! Our kitties had a great time too 😻

✨Wishlist Wednesday✨

This week our biggest wishlist needs are kitten wet and dry food and disposable litter boxes. We use the disposable litter boxes in our overnight surgery cages and kitten food is always in demand! 🐈
