It's May and we are officially OPEN! 🥳🐾
**the following post is lengthy but please do read it thoroughly**
Thank you to all of our wonderful clients near and far who have worked with us as we welcomed our newest little one, Otto 💙
With reopening our in home boarding facility, we feel that it's essential we update everyone on some recent changes (effective May 1) we have decided to make:
🐾Dogs who we are traveling to care for will be charged $15/visit plus $.60/mile if your home is farther than a 10 mile radius from our home
🐾 All dogs being boarded will now be charged a flat rate of $25/dog/day. Multiple dogs staying from one home will receive a $5 discount for each additional dog.
🐾All dogs are still required to have proof of up to date vaccinations, permission to be treated if necessary, and their own food provided by the owner
🐾All new dogs will be required to come for an evaluation prior to their stay to ensure they are a good fit for in home boarding
**we recognize not all dogs are a good fit for in home boarding, some may be better at a boarding facility & we want what is best for each animal**
🐾We will not be allowing any aggressive dogs to be boarded at our home. For the safety of our family and the dog, aggressive dogs will be recommended to board elsewhere.
🐾All dogs are required to be housebroken. We understand accidents happen from time to time and that coming to a new place makes some animals a little nervous, but if we feel a dog is not housebroken, clients will be charged an additional fee of $10/day. This is our home where we have small children and boarded dogs constantly going to the bathroom indoors is not sanitary nor do we desire to have our belongings ruined because of it.
🐾We do reserve the right to charge more if a dog destroys any of our personal belongings
🐾All dogs will be placed in an indoor kennel if and when we need to be away from home for a short duration or at night unless agreed upon otherwise. The kennel is the safest place for your pet and ensures we do not need to worry about dogs getting into things they shouldn't or our belongings being destroyed.
🐾All dogs boarded with us are treated like family and essentially live right with us for their stay. We consider this a privilege and luxury to have pets experience a very low stress, enjoyable stay with constant positive interaction with us. We do not enjoy implementing more rules and stipulations but do feel it's essential to ensure the best outcome for boarded dogs and our family.
