You can even rent a dog to go walk the trails (age appropriate)
with a donation to Friends of Mineral Wells Shelter Pets.

Tails & Trails From 10 AM - 5 pm
We will have dogs to adopt! $25 adoption or for a donation you can borrow one of our dogs for a walk.

Bring your pup out for a day of walking on the trails! Come wrap up World Wellness Weekend with Clark Gardens by getting in your steps, reducing stress levels, and spending quality time with your dog.

On this day only, receive free admission into the gardens if your dog is accompanying you (1 dog = 1 free admission pass). Plus, a special treat for the fur baby will be included.

Clark Gardens Members will receive an additional gift for participating.

We can't wait to see all the wagging tails. As a reminder, our admissions booth always has poo bags available.

#NotJustADogCatcher Officer Nash and Laws caught a cat yesterday that had a jar stuck to her head for over 4 days. She was netted and brought into the shelter where we could help her get out of the jar. We will keep her here a few days since she is not friendly and make sure she is eating ok and we will fix her and release her back to the caretaker. High Five for the Animal Control Officers saving this baby!

This pup was just picked up by Animal Control Mineral Wells TX. The fleas on this dog are in the thousands. These two got out today to enjoy some play time. Fergie and Tiger are both up for adoption. They are both just puppies and will need some time with house training and rules. They are both available NOW for adoption or rescue. Come check out these two cute pups.

Harrison is big ole boy. He is a whopping 69 lbs. He is hw negative and is a total love bug. He is available now for adoption or rescue.

Smokey is a 1 yr old pocket pitty mix. This cute little fella is absolutely beautiful. He weighs 41 lbs and is hw negative. He is good with other dogs but needs slow introductions.
