Feel good story of the day!
Wendu has been missing from Weatherford since Thanksgiving. His momma has been heartbroken with his disappearance. Well today Wendu was brought to us in a trap after he had been hanging around NW 10 St. for about a week. We checked him for a chip and immediately called his owner.
Wendu is back home where he belongs and his momma is so very happy.

We want to thank the community and all of our wonderful followers for all the love and dedication to the Mineral Wells Animal Shelter. These are just some of the donations we have received the last few days for our pups. We posted a plea and you filled the need very quickly. Our pups are set right now and we want you to know how much we appreciate you all for helping us out!

We have 16 little puppies. We are running out of puppy food.
If you are out and about and you want to help out these pups you can drop off a bag of puppy food on our porch.

Please contact Kim via email at [email protected] or you can call/text at 940-452-0990. Please make sure before you commit to signing up that you can be available. Last year we had 6 people sign up that was never available nor did they even respond to our plea. We need as many bottle feeders as possible or unfortunately we have to let these babies go when they come in because we can not let them sit here and starve to death. We want to save as many as we can but we need your help to do that!

We are already receiving pregnant cats into the shelter which means "Kitten Season" is here earlier than we planned!
