This Story has just begun.

A few years ago, Jim and Randy Dell, decided to buy a small lot in her hometown of Mineral Wells, and pursue their dream. That dream was to grow clean produce bio intensively without the aid of man made chemicals and enjoy family life. Jim, a Vietnam Veteran and semi-retired helicopter pilot, had a vision and he built it. A large greenhouse dedicated to Aquaponics emerged on the property. Randy, a retired RN, jumped in as well and in the renovated barn, the microgreens room was born. Soon, raised beds were built and good soil was being grown and their daughter, Andrea, moved home and took on a big role, her brightest spot being potted herbs. As what they call “the compound” came together, they have become a family with 5 generations gathered together in what can be described as proof you can go home again. Although they moved away from the aquaponics into a more classic style of growing, firmly rooted in permaculture, they continue to grow a large amount of produce in a small amount of space. They offer microgreens, seasonal produce, potted culinary plants, and in the off seasons, Oyster mushrooms. Oh, and the ladies that inhabit the coop, aka the Chickens, sometimes feel like giving up an egg or two.
