We saved your puppy today. You know…the brindle puppy you left tied to the porch of our clinic? The one covered in fleas and sores and underweight? The one you left at 8 pm to not be found until the next morning at 7 am with no water or blanket? The poor little guy who isn’t even 6 months old? You know the one I’m talking about.

The clinic staff found him and cared for him. Gave him a medicated bath, flea control and trimmed his nails. Checked him for intestinal parasites. They did all the medical things they could, but they can’t heal his mind. Only time will do that. Time to forget whatever hell you put him through in his short time on this earth. Time to forget that he was left tied to a porch post pulling and rolling and screaming as you walked away. I guess I’m thankful you left him there instead of dumping him in the woods somewhere, but why do it at all? Were you tired of him? He wasn’t “cute” anymore? Couldn’t afford to have him treated for the fleas crawling all over his tiny body?

In time, he will forget because he will now know nothing but love and peace and acceptance. He will live his best puppy and dog life in a home where only love and cuddles reside.

And you…the male and female who dumped him like that…I saw your faces. We all saw your faces. You are on camera. It was absolutely heartbreaking to watch.

Our team is grateful to have these ladies and those smiles in our clinic everyday. Taking a minute to boast! Congratulations to Gary for passing his national boards and becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. RVTs have an Associate degree and have to test on 7 species of animals! MWVC is proud to have 3 Registered Technicians in the clinic. They work mostly in surgery and triage any emergencies that come into the clinic. You may not always see their faces, but know they are there, working hard in the background, and giving the very best care for your pets. Congratulations again, Gary!

It's the Holiday season! Tomorrow, Dec 20th we be closing at 12:30pm for our employee holiday gathering.

We will also be closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec 25th and 26th so that our staff can enjoy time with their families.

Finally we will be closed on Monday Jan 1st for the holiday as well.
