So, I had a sign made. This thing looks so cool. The dogs weren’t all that impressed with having to sit there while I took their picture with it. I’m excited to get this mounted at the new place. Keep an eye for when I get it mounted.

So, today I have an announcement to make about the breeding program here at Walnut Woods. I made a decision about a month ago to sell the property here in Carlisle because of a different life decision I had to make. These are sad but exciting times for me. The property here in Carlisle is currently on the market as of today and we have already booked two showings. I will add the link to the Iowa Realty page if you know anyone looking for a in town out of town property with a nice building on it and a lot of room for expansion. Good news is I will still be doing the breeding program but from a different location. I am currently working on getting a new building built on my 6 acres in Mingo IA. I’m extremely excited about this move. Keep an eye out and see how things are coming along. I’ll post as things progress.

Here we have Riot. She’s from Valaks late 2023 litter. Shes absolutely beautiful. Her mom says that “Riot is the biggest baby but is always on guard! And loves her car rides, windows down no matter the temperature. She also loves going out to socialize and meet new people!”
So this is something that is very important about this breed. Training and socializing them.

My name is Trisha, and I have been around and involved in dog training my entire life. I opened Silver Bullitt Aussies in 2010. I have over 13 years of experience in running my own training program, where I understand that each dog is an individual, with their own unique personality. I understand that each dog learns at a different level, and a different pace. What works for one dog, may not work for the next. It is my job as a trainer, to connect with and learn to understand each dog and their needs individually.
It is also my job to train you, and that is probably the most important part of my job in setting the foundation for you and your dog's future!

My board and train program is a great way to get you and your dog the help you need, while working through realistic situations that are a part of your daily life. I offer a board and train program, where your dog gets to spend a few weeks with me and my family, while learning how to become an even better dog💕
My program, allows me to work with each dog on not only obedience training itself, but how to behave inside the home as well. We focus on not just teaching your dog commands, but we work with your dog in realistic situations, to ensure that your dog becomes the best version of itself, and is able to apply that, even in high distraction areas, and exciting situations!

Training your dog, means training you too! With my program, you receive a visit/training lesson each week during your dog's stay, a lesson on graduation day, and a follow up lesson within 2 weeks of taking your dog back home! This gives me multiple opportunities to work with you and your dog together, to ensure you are learning to work with your dog as a team!

UPDATE; SHE HAS FOUND HER HOME AND WILL GO TO HERE FOREVER HOME TONIGHT.

Ok, here she is. She’s the last of this litter and is 13 weeks. Shes in need of a home. If you have been wanting a Cane Corso that is a lover and enjoys playing fetch, this is your girl. We have reduced the rehoming fee so we can get her into her forever home this weekend. Please DM me for rehoming fee.

Good morning, I wanted to update everyone on the puppy we called Slink. She has a new name “Stormie” and is doing great! Stormie is using her dog door on her own, she’s able to do some stairs now and is doing great at puppy training. She’s also getting a lot of exposure to people at a school. I love getting the updates on all the puppies so, keep them coming.

They are currently 10 weeks old and are all up to date on shots and deworming. So, today we got to say goodbye to Slink. She’s going to a good home where she will have a berm house with no stairs to live in. From the sounds of things I believe she may become a therapy dog. The kids and I are a little upset to see her go but we know she’s going to a home that will love her. I’m excited to get updates on her progress.

Well, after sending the boys home today. We got the girls out for some play time. Two of these little girls will be leaving over the next two days.
