Good morning, everyone.
As many of you know from my previous post, I’m in the process of relocating to a warmer climate, and this upcoming litter will be my last. I wanted to share an additional update with you all— I will be deleting my personal page in the coming days, which will also remove this page.

Over the next few days, I’ll be reaching out to those on the list of people who are interested in adopting a puppy from this last litter. I’ll be asking for your phone number and any other contact information you’d like to share with me, so we can stay in touch.

If you’re still interested in adopting a puppy from this litter and haven’t yet reached out to me, please let me know as soon as possible. I want to make sure I have everyone’s information to keep communication open.

First off, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and you were able to spend some time with family.

Important Announcement:

After much thought, I’ve decided to make a significant change and relocate to a warmer climate. With no remaining ties to Iowa, I’m currently exploring options in Phoenix, AZ, and San Antonio, TX.

As part of this transition, I’ve made the decision that my upcoming litter of puppies will be my last. I want to ensure that everyone currently on the waiting list has first choice, in the order they signed up. There are still a few spots available on the list, so if you’ve been considering getting a puppy, now is the perfect time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss the details.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported me throughout the years. There are too many of you to name, but you know who you are, and I am truly grateful.

So, I just ran across this and wanted to share. In the past I’ve had a few people wanting to take two puppies home. As much as I like sending puppies home, this is why I have told you it’s not a good idea and convince you of this. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

A huge shout out to my dad for helping me with this artificial turf. I couldn’t have done it without him. Next week we will get the kennel panels all together and we will officially have a place to keep the dog’s feet clean when I let them outside.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update on this beautiful girl. She was one I delivered to ME in 2023.
Her mom said “Terk is 85lbs of beauty she’s little but very serious about her people, she’s a very smart girl and loves her 2 dog siblings, she uses those big brown eyes to her advantage lol, though she can be stubborn she’s the easiest dog I’ve ever trained, always willing to learn! You are breeding wonderful genes.”
I’m always excited to get these updates.

Tonight we spent some time on cleaning the building and brushing up on a little training. Also did a little nail trimming and brushed them out. Luther’s not very happy with me. I got one of his nails a little short and well it was bleeding. Thank God I had some Kwik stop powder. Wasn’t sure if I did. If you don’t have some in your house I recommend having it just in case.

Also received and updated from another one of Valak and Luther’s last litter. This is Duke, he is a beautiful boy. He’s not looking so happy about the sweatshirt. Lol

So, I received an update from one of the puppies that went home from Valak and Luther’s last litter. This is Kilo. Mom thinks he’s about 55 # but has a vet appointment next week. This guy is absolutely amazing. He’s got a great mixture of mom and dad’s head.

Well, I got the sign add to the electrical stand. You will be able to see this from the road and it will great you as you come down the driveway. On the other side they will be installing all the electrical components for permanent power. We are getting there one little step at a time. Keep watching for updates on this project and I’ll be posting more updated dog photos from past litters.

So, I had a sign made. This thing looks so cool. The dogs weren’t all that impressed with having to sit there while I took their picture with it. I’m excited to get this mounted at the new place. Keep an eye for when I get it mounted.

So, today I have an announcement to make about the breeding program here at Walnut Woods. I made a decision about a month ago to sell the property here in Carlisle because of a different life decision I had to make. These are sad but exciting times for me. The property here in Carlisle is currently on the market as of today and we have already booked two showings. I will add the link to the Iowa Realty page if you know anyone looking for a in town out of town property with a nice building on it and a lot of room for expansion. Good news is I will still be doing the breeding program but from a different location. I am currently working on getting a new building built on my 6 acres in Mingo IA. I’m extremely excited about this move. Keep an eye out and see how things are coming along. I’ll post as things progress.

Here we have Riot. She’s from Valaks late 2023 litter. Shes absolutely beautiful. Her mom says that “Riot is the biggest baby but is always on guard! And loves her car rides, windows down no matter the temperature. She also loves going out to socialize and meet new people!”
So this is something that is very important about this breed. Training and socializing them.
