ITS NATIONAL DOG DAY!! We LOVE seeing the pooch pics! Keep 'em coming!

On this day in 1918 one of the smartest women to walk this earth was born. Katherine Johnson was one of three African American students chosen to integrate West Virginia University, and the first black woman to do so. Known as the "computer" for her unmatched mathematics, Katherine went on to work for NASA as an aerospace technologist. Her accuracy not only guaranteed Alan Shepard's Freedom 7 Mercury capsule would be found upon landing, buuuuutt she ALSO calculated the trajectory for the 1969 APOLLO 11 flight to the moon!

Welcome to MinneTreats! Where we love our pups like family, and TREAT them as such!

Our mission is to provide dog treats to our community and their furry friends, while using all natural and healthy ingredients, and striving for low waste production and distribution. We aim to cultivate black history through the progression and expansion of the diverse knowlege of black history within and throughout our neighbors and beyond!

Our very first batch is inspired by, and dedicated to Rza the doggos HOOMAN grandmother GoGo Linda!

In the South African language of Zulu, "Ugogo" is the definition for Grandmama. "GoGo" Linda, is not only a South African Immigrant, but also a successful nurse of 20+ years, a mother of five, and a proud grandmother of eight (including Rza!)
