A rainbow egg basket classic — Olive Eggers!

These girls are hardy layers of 5-6 eggs per week. Their appearance can vary a bit—black or chipmunk striped, beards, crests, pea combs, or single combs. Each chick is a fun little surprise, but they all lay beautiful green eggs!

SSF Chocolate Eggers are back for 2025 and as always, sold as guaranteed female day-old chicks. They lay shades 4-6 on the Marans egg shade scale. All that chocolatey goodness without that whole straight run problem 😜

Back for 2025, Frizzled Easter Eggers!

These girls are NOT bantam—they’re a standard-sized hen that lay blue to blue-green eggs. And yes, they’re cold-hardy! Our line has been bred to withstand Minnesota winters and they do just as well as regular-feathered birds in below zero temperatures. Sexed day-old females will be available for preorder on November 1st!

Frizzled feathers are NOT guaranteed. Each chick has a 50/50 chance of having frizzled feathers so we recommend getting at least 2-3 chicks to increase your chance of having at least one frizzle. You can tell who’s frizzled by about 7 days of age.

NEW FOR 2025 — The Basic Bitch 🥚

These girls lay white eggs and lots of them! They will be available in 2025 as day-old pullets. Their feathers are blue and they have a single comb. As with all our varieties, they’re hardy in hot summers and very cold winters.

Most rainbow egg collectors find themselves wanting a white egg layer once they’ve added all the fun colors to their basket so plan on adding the Basic Bitch to your flock next year!
