Hello from the Hawkeye State Cat Club cat show in Des Moines!! My first time at this show, it was a wonderful venue at the Paul Knapp Animal Learning Center, well-organized by the club, and well-attended by cat enthusiasts. Congratulations to the club on a great show!!

Everpaw Avada Kedavra and I had a fantastic time and she even found her way into some kitten finals with a highly competitive kitten class and very tough Exotic Kitten class.

Thank you to all the judges who found a place for Addie in their finals. I am so grateful for her finals placements as we get ready to finish her kitten career and graduate to the Open class next month. 🙏 And congratulations to all the exhibitors and to those who were there for their first time hope to see you again at another show!

Come see over 160 purebred and household pet cats compete for top cat in 4 different judging rings throughout each day. Meet Maine C**n Cats, Ragamuffins, Persians, Siamese, Devon Rex, Ragdolls, Bengals and up to 30 other breeds!

You can sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit with the cats between judging. No matter what time you arrive you’re bound to see your favorite breed being judged.

There are rules our association has requiring specific vaccinations, health checks, etc. that cannot be investigated or enforced onto spectators’ cats. It is as much for the safety of your cat as well as those cats competing.

😽 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙚? Some exhibitors will have kittens or adults for sale. Sometimes these cats will have come to the show, but others may be waiting at home to find their perfect home. Look for signs that read Cats or Kittens for sale. Please note that all kittens (except rescue kitties) must be 4 months old to be in the show hall.
🍴 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚? People food will be available! A food concession 🍔 is on location for lunch. 🍴

Hello from the Saintly City Cat Show!! Everpaw Avada Kedavra had a great time making new friends, playing with judges in the ring, and representing the breed this weekend. Due to the winter carnival TONS of people came out to see the show 😅 I sincerely apologize if I wasn’t able to make time for everyone who wanted to meet me and my kitten. At times, crowds of 15-20 people were surrounding me and my 2 benching buddies to see our cats. So it was difficult to make those one on one connections. To those of you who I was able to connect with it was wonderful meeting you all.

Thank you to all the judges who found a place for Addie in their finals. It was such a wonderful group of gorgeous kittens … very very competitive class. I am always so grateful for every final my cats make, so I appreciate her placements very much. 🙏

Thanks to my benching buddies Hanna and Jess for always being such good friends, supporting me, and making the show that much more fun!

Look who made the news!! This boy went home a few months ago and was shown at a cat shown in Janesville by his owner Christa Liane Razorfish and he did very well!!

The American Cat Fanciers Association hosted its cat show at the Rock County Fairgrounds in Janesville Saturday, featuring many rare and primped up kitties.

I went to Windy Kitty’s Cat show “Whisker Wonderland” in Janesville, WI where Sus had his first cat show as an Open Adult with ACFA. We are so very grateful to all the judges who found a place for Sus in their finals 🙏 He made 6/8 finals, 2nd best two times, 3rd, 4th, and 5th best as well as best champion in the specialty ring. These finals allowed Sus to earn his Grand Champion title (he still needs to earn the required number of winners ribbons which should be accomplished at his next show with ACFA)

Thank you to ACFA and to the Windy Kitty cat club for putting on an amazing show!! It’s tricky to do an 8-ring one-day show but you organized well and you all deserve huge congratulations!! Congratulations to everyone who made finals and a HUGE shoutout to Christa who showed her Everpaw Longhair kitten “Gogo Boots” and made 7/8 finals including Best in Show!! My heart is full and I’m so proud of them both!!

Sus will be going to his first Adult cat show with ACFA next weekend and we are so excited to see our ACFA family!!

Let me tell you…Sus is a very VERY slow maturing boy, but he is certainly coming together nicely as his head broadens and those ears come down and his body fills out. Definitely has been worth the wait…and he’ll only get better as he gets older!!

Hope to see old friends and make new ones in Janesville!!
