And then there was one and even though it was only a single day since his last litter mate left he was so out of sorts. Kenneled himself in the most lonely defeated way. 🥺 His mama was no help with her “why are you still here” attitude.

He was a rockstar on the drive to Madison handover on Saturday but when not sleeping only wanted to cuddle (lucky me 🥹)

He’s now on his way to the Land of Lincoln where he gets to play with Snoop Dog from the fall litter. Gotcha pics to come.

Like Gordy in our first litter Martina Maraschino aka Marti is keeping her name. ❤️🍒❤️

She’s heading a little ways NE to meet her new big sister a Havanese named Poppy 🥰. New mum Betsy is over the moon 🌖 ready to start taking in those doxie kisses.

The handovers started last Friday. I’m just catching up. With two pups staying within one family across two states, a road trip was planned. Nana Lillie getting a little help from her cutie pie grandkids bringing Felix Mae out west.

Savannah saying yes to Jax and helping him keep his litter mate company on the road!

At the risk of jinxing it the final five had two great nights 6 hours sleeping in the kennels 🙌🏼

We’ve been have naps, meals and snacks in the kennels - anything and everything to reinforce the kennel as a safe space for rest. 🥰
