Whether you have a dog that is a little 'ruff' around the edges or you are interested in implementing a training program with a new puppy, I can help you from start to finish with in-home training. I've lived in Eagan for about 3.5 years and have been training since October of 2011 when I graduated from the Animal Behavior College (California). I did my internships with MARS (Midwest Animal Rescue

) & Animal Ark. I am additionally certified in training reactive and aggressive dogs focused on getting reactive and aggressive dogs rehomed out of shelters. ABC certified, positive reinforcement certified, ABC reactive and aggressive training certified, ABC certified in canine massage. Services include:
Aggressive dog training
In home training
Reactive dog training
Service dog training
Off leash training
Puppy training
Agility training

In home training; I come to you. I've practiced in puppy training, basic commands, reactive dogs, service dog training, ESA training using positive reinforcement training utilizing conditioned and unconditioned reinforcers. I utilize treat training specifically keeping in mind calorie count based on dog weight, I worked in the veterinary industry for many years and am skilled in proper feeding by breed and weight. I have additional certification in training reactive and aggressive dogs. I can help you and your dog learn basic commands such as sit, stay, come, leave it, down, shake, fetch and many more. I can also help you fix common canine behavioral problems, such as: inappropriate elimination/potty training, separation anxiety, barking, chewing, jumping, nipping, digging, hu***ng, chasing, begging, consuming f***s (Coprophagia - the leading spread of bacteria and parasites among dogs). Things that I've encountered and overcome in my time working with people and animals are: digging, coprophagia (eating poo), barking, pulling, loose leash walking, defecating in home/potty training, recall, front door manners and so much more. Consultations are free of charge via zoom where we can discuss and see if we are good fit. My training plan is generally 9 to 11 weeks with six training sessions breaking in between for at home practice with you and your dog. At the consultation, we will discuss core issues and current practices and at the first session I will explain how I've designed the training program based on those issues. My motto is "everything is fixable" meaning you might not be able to train every dog out of every behavior but it's up to us human parents to adjust our thinking habits to build our dogs up to being confident, brave and successful. My favorite part of being a dog trainer is that I truly love seeing dogs being successful and happy and seeing their human parents more relaxed and able to really understand the language of their canine companion. My #1 dog training tip: Consistency. Service areas: Twin Cities Metro, Minnesota or remote anywhere in the continental US.

What's on the menu tonight?
Broccoli, carrots, bone broth, lamb, beef liver, cabbage, mushroom additive & multivitamins.
The health benefits of feeding homemade or raw food diet are abundant and the excitement level is at MAX CAPACITY (see comments).
**Do not feed a homemade or raw food diet without veterinary or pet nutritionist consultation, dogs need approximately 40 essential nutrients each of which has a specific role in a dogs' body.**

Sadie is an 8-year-old female Hound mix. She was surrendered to Animal Ark because a new baby was on the way. Sadie knows some commands like sit, down, and shake and is housebroken! Her previous owner told us that she is a little shy and quiet and likes to sleep in her crate. Sadie would love to find her forever home soon, but she also welcomes a foster or foster-to-adopt home.
For more info, visit https://animalarkmn.org/foster/ or call the shelter, 651-772-8983.

One of my current clients, Sweetie; a recent rescue, is doing SO WELL. (All of my current clients are doing tremendous - to be fair). She has grown leaps and bounds in 4 short weeks!!! The demand barking has dramatically decreased, she's getting so good at stay and front door desensitization.
I'm currently booking new clients for May - reach out if you need some assistant building a better bond ☺️

Repeat after me. Muzzled dogs are NOT BAD DOGS.

Muzzled dogs have good humans.

Muzzled dogs can have more experiences because they are managed. Their quality of life is INCREASED because of the muzzle.

Muzzled dogs can still have treats.

Muzzled dogs are not miserable.

Muzzled dogs are muzzled for ALL KINDS OF REASONS. Not just aggression. Maybe they eat too much stuff off the ground and get sick. Maybe they play too rough. Maybe they over correct when startled. Maybe they want to eat squirrels. Maybe they need to learn better social skills. Not all dogs in a muzzle have a bite history, some have them on to prevent that in the first place. Sometimes the muzzle is more for the HUMAN than the DOG because it allows them to feel more confident. Big dogs, small dogs, and all breeds and sizes need muzzles sometimes. It is not a breed specific tool.

Muzzled dogs are GOOD DOGS WITH GREAT HUMANS who are setting their dog up to not fail. Judging a dog in a muzzle and their owner is the same as judging someone for wearing a helmet. They are choosing safety and being proactive and it takes WORK to get your dog to a level that they are happily working and walking around in a muzzle so kudos to the humans and dogs I work with who put that time in to better their dogs lives.

If you see a dog in a muzzle, don’t stare, don’t ask rude questions, just say “nice job, great looking dog!” And carry on. Believe me, you will have just made that humans day.
