MN SNAP operates Minnesota's ONLY year-round mobile spay and neuter clinic. Take a peek inside our custom surgery suite on wheels and discover how the mobile clinic is helping us support more pets and owners than ever before.

From Red Lake to Rochester, MN SNAP strives to be there for all Minnesotans. Since 2010, "The Mobile" has traveled over 400,000 miles, making stops at communities and Tribal Nations such as Thief River Falls, Chisholm, Brainerd, Mankato, and many more.

We average more than $18,000 in fuel costs every year to provide this service. Help us fund even more trips in 2025 by donating to our end-of-the-year donor drive and support MN SNAP in our effort to provide accessible spay/neuter surgeries for all Minnesotans.

Since our founding in 2010, MN SNAP has had the privilege of collaborating with a number of community-led partners across the state in our shared fight to make necessary veterinary care accessible for all pets in Minnesota.

As they seek to support their local communities, we seek to support them by offering our partners and individuals from their communities reasonable options for spay/neuter surgeries.

Whether you're a TNR organization from Albert Lea, a humane society from Madelia, or an animal welfare advocacy group from St. Cloud, MN SNAP is proud to be an asset to every ally dedicated to the cause of accessible veterinary care for all.

As the problem of accessible spay/neuter services continues to grow, our work continues to become more and more important. We see the impact every day in our clinic, and it's why we do what we do. Early morning on March 8, an unsuspecting cat was checked in to our North Minneapolis clinic for a neuter surgery. Little did he know he would become part of MN SNAP history.

Maaji was our 200,000th patient since our 2010 founding. He became the face of our 14th Anniversary in April and our September annual fundraiser. We all feel like we know Maaji now, he's a MN SNAP milestone.

But there are so many more numbers and needs. At a mobile clinic site in August, a small cat emerged from her kennel to check in for a spay surgery. She brought some very precious cargo. Behind this young mama were seven tiny sets of eyes (and ears) staring back at us.

MN SNAP is proud to support local TNR groups to reduce the suffering and overpopulation of Minnesota feral, community and barn cats. The cost of spay/neuter surgeries is the most expensive barrier to their work, but MN SNAP is here to help.

By offering accessible surgeries, they save up to $250 (or more) per surgery, potentially letting them DOUBLE or TRIPLE their impact. This past year alone, MN SNAP sterilized 1,913 feral/community/barn cats, potentially saving volunteers and TNR groups up to $478,000 in veterinary costs!

So many Minnesota families are struggling to find the care their pets need. It could be transportation, cost, availability or many other reasons. We meet pets and people where they are with our mobile surgery suite and essential support from organizations and communities who host us.

When we introduced them to our surgery suites, our veterinary team quickly noticed a "reduction in overall stress and fear" before surgery and in recovery.
