Every Weds is the Hop Garden Work Day. Watering and some trimming of wandering bines is on tap besides the cold homebrew that usually is pouring.

The hops and flowers are looking good!

This coming Weds. Work Day we will be hangin ropes at the garden. Any work not completed then will be completed on the following Wed. 5:30 to 8:00pm. 5-10 and 5-17

We have a lot of updates for this coming season, including some fun new events.

1. Board Member terms are up and any current member is eligible to nominate themselves or another current member.
• If you are not a current member, you must pay your 2022 member dues by 1:00 on April 16th to be eligible to nominate yourself and vote.
• There are 9 Board Member positions, and once the Board is validated, Board Members will vote for leadership positions within the board at the July 23rd Board Meeting.
• Nominations are due by 1:00PM on Saturday, April 9 by email to this address ([email protected]).
• A list of nominees will be emailed out on Sunday, April 10 for review and consideration.
• Voting will take place in person at the garden for a Spring Member Drive and Social Gathering on Saturday, April 16 at 1:00PM. If you cannot vote in person, you can vote by email by replying to the nominee email.
• All current members get 1 vote. Additionally, shareholders receive 1 vote/200 Shares, up to a maximum of 5 total votes per person.
• Board Members will serve a 2-year term. The first Board meeting with new members will be on July 23, 2022.

2. Schedule of events to take place this year:
• All events to be held at the garden unless noted otherwise, times and dates subject to change.
• April 16 - Spring Member Drive and Board Member Voting
• April 30 - Line Day - Work day to install new lines and tighten cables
• June 18 - Solstice Bottle Share
• July 23 - Board Meeting - All Board members must attend and all members & shareholders are welcome to attend
• September 10-11 - Harvest
• October 1 - Open Streets Minnehaha
• October 29 - Homebrew Contest
• ...and of course our weekly workday on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00PM
