is Chapter 61 of Muskies Inc. Muskies Inc. is an active, service-oriented, non-profit organization with the single focus of improving the sport of muskie fishing for men, women and children. Our mission is to unite all muskie fishing interests for the promotion and protection of a high quality muskellunge sport fishery in the United States and Canada. We will accomplish this by supporting conserva

tion practices and research based on sound scientific merit, and carried out by authorized federal or state agencies, appropriate academic institutions, Muskies Inc. chapters, and their members. We are committed to the abatement of water pollution; maintenance of records for muskies habits, growth and range and the dissemination of muskie information to every one.

Thanks to everyone who helped make our 2024/25 Banquet a success. We especially appreciate all our members and guests along with the donors, our great guest speaker Nate Osfar, and the folks at Whitetail Inn for taking such good care of us. We'll be posting some photos shortly. In this photo Tim Sanderson presents the award plaque and a new rod to our youth winner Blair Lazars.

On Saturday we held our annual Kids Ice Fishing Day on Lake Minocqua. What a turn out we had! Great to see lots of kids partake in the festivities and learn about the wonderful sport of ice fishing! We even ran out tip ups and jig poles as well as all of the food we brought for lunch! It was an awesome afternoon on the hard water.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers and businesses that helped make our day a success!

It's time again for our Northwoods Chapter Challunge. This is a fun event which pits our team of Northwoods Muskies Inc. members against the team from Headwaters Chapter Muskies Inc. for bragging rights as the masters of the northwoods muskies. Our chapter won last year so we're looking for a strong challenge from the Headwaters team. Help us defend our championship and fish with us on October 19. You may fish wherever you want. Take a photo holding your fish and on a bump board. Meet at Sayner Pub at 6:00 for food, drinks, and awards. There is a $5.00 per angler big fish pot for anyone who is interested. See the attached rules sheet from Headwaters Chapter. They are the hosts this year. If you intend to fish please call or text Pete Stoltman at (715) 614-4142 with your team member names and if you want to be included in the big fish pot.
