As pet owners, many of you have been in situations where you ask yourself "How do I know if my pet is experiencing an emergency?" You can use this helpful infographic to help us triage your pet by finding their malady on the list below.

Remember, in a veterinary emergency:
-Don't panic: your pet's well-being depends on you being able to react quickly and calmly.
-Don't attempt home remedies: many times even well-intentioned ones result in complicating the original problem further.
-Call your veterinarian or emergency clinic immediately to discuss your pet's condition.
-Handle your pet with care: an animal in pain may bite.
