Happy new years!

I hope everyone had a great and safe holiday. I was blessed to make it through my first year of pet sitting and couldn’t being feeling more grateful for everyone that has trusted me with their homes and their fur babies. As the new year is here, this is usually the time for people to start doing things differently or implementing new things into their lives. With that said, I will be taking the entire month of January off to reset and recharge a little bit before some big bookings to come this spring.

When I do come back I will be doing things a little differently than I have been. Usually I will book everyone that messages me with the only exception of if im not available. While that was working for a while, I have come into issues with this of confirming visits without meeting people or knowing what they all want from me. Normally I didn’t have problems with this but I have been way to lenient on what I am comfortable doing to appease to everyone and I have unfortunately reached my breaking point.

I will not be doing check ins for anyone outside of the city limits especially if it’s more than 1 day. It turns into way too much driving, I am not comfortable leaving animals alone that long especially without easy access and it’s just really hard to juggle with work and everything else.

I will still be doing overnights but location will come into play as I do have a full time job in town to consider. Upon inquiry, I will need your current address to verify if I am able to do the service.

One other thing I will be more strict on is situations that I don’t feel comfortable whether it’s the animals themselves and any behavioral issues they might have or anything in their daily routine that I don’t feel comfortable with. I know everyone have their own ways of being a pet parent, but there is some things I have been confronted with that I just can’t do. Like I’ve always said, I am not doing this for the money. I do it simply because of my love for animals and cause I like helping people but there is just some things I can’t in good conscience condone. So I will be starting to do meet and greats before confirming to see if I am a right fit for your animal and what you’re needing me to do.

Couldn’t have asked for a better girl to end the year with. Lilah is an older gal but she definitely doesn’t let that slow her down. She still gets spurts of energy like a puppy and is so goofy. Only thing better than the company was the security I had with the 12ft skeleton in the living room 🥰

Dog sitting took me to Velva for the holidays to hangout with these 3 goofballs. Don’t mind all the group shots, but the only way I could get pictures was when they were all together and getting bribed with treats 😅

✨ O L I V E R ✨

No offense to any of my past, current or future clients but this little man is my new favorite. When a friend of mine reached out to me and asked about watching her daughter’s dachshund puppy a couple days, it was an instant yes. I had my mini doxie for almost 15 years and while he wasn’t my choice of dog to get in the beginning, I will always have a soft spot for them. Oliver reminded me so much of Jake with his quirkiness and side eye judgment when you stopped giving him attention for even a second. Enjoy the pictures of the dorky but oh so cute Oliver ♥️

Had a full house this weekend with this group but we had fun and got in a lot of cuddles and playing outside. Hoosier was my first time interacting with a Dalmatian so it was new experiences for everyone!

This ice cube loving, bed hogging, yoda obsessed, high ten giving cutie was my first official Rover customer. Her grandparents hired me to hang out with her for the week while they were out of town. She was a little shy at first but eventually came out of her shell and turned into the goofiest girl that I had a hard time leaving. ♥️

From one job right to the next. I got to spend the rest of the weekend with my polar bear, Sadie and sweetheart Sammy. I love these two so much and so grateful I get to watch them as often as I do ♥️

Last week marked 1 year since I started this pet sitting journey and it comes as no surprise that my sleepover buddies were also my first official customers. I just love these two and being able to be in their lives especially after getting to meet Kobe when he was just a little potato at the shelter. Mamba is still her sweet old soul that loves to nap and Kobe is definitely not a little potato anymore ♥️

I think I can officially call myself a cat lady now. I finished my first cat only pet sitting and couldn’t have asked for a better girl. Phoebe I swear is a dog in a cat’s body lol. She followed me everywhere, would fetch her toys, cuddled, begged to go outside to play in the snow, watched me while I cooked(and showered), sat pretty for treats, would walk me to the door when I left and watched me from the window when I got home. She’s such a sweet girl and I can’t thank her parents for trusting me with her ♥️

✖️A N N O U N C E M E N T ✖️

This is the post I'm sure a lot of have people have been waiting for gauging from the amount people that have asked recently, so here it is.... I Am Back!

I know I said I was only going to be taking July off but life happens and I honestly had no time or ambition or sanity to handle anything more. Now that things have stabilized, it's time to get back in the swing of things. There will be a couple of changes being made to my services.

- I am no longer living in the city limits of Minot, so my check ins will be limited for the time being. Normally I wouldn't mind doing them once or twice a day when I lived in town, but that's just not ideal for me right now. It's a lot of driving and I would feel bad leaving animals alone longer than they need to be. If it is during the week when I'm working in town, I will do those, but anything over the weekend will be required to be a over night stay or if it's more than twice a day or more than a day long.

- Winter is coming soon as much as we hate to admit it, so the possibility of me getting a second job is likely. When/if that happens, I will be limited to what I can do so I won't be double booking anymore like I have been able to in the past.

- Also a reminder that my services are done in the home of the pets. I do not board or pet sit in my residence. As much as I would love to, I do not have my own place right now and the cost of buying a house let alone a property for a business is just not in the cards for me.

Hey everyone!

Just a quick reminder that I will be going on break from any pet sitting or dog walking for a little bit. Between this and my other job, the summer has just been hectic to say the least. I don’t have a definitive date on when I will resume as of yet but I will keep this page updated. July, I am taking completely off to just relax a little bit and also I will be getting ready to move as well. August, I am only doing one job for a friend of mine that will take up a majority of the month. September, the first couple weeks I have personal things in the works already but hopefully once all that gets squared away and I get settled into my new place, I can start up again.

I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who has supported me in this. I know I’ve said it a lot but it truly means a lot to me. When this first started, I didn’t think I would get a lot of interest and people would not be comfortable with someone in their homes even if they did know them prior, but I’ve been able to stay pretty consistent since starting up in November and I can’t tell you how appreciative I am for the people that I’ve worked with. I’m hoping to continue doing it this way in hopes of expanding to more services as well as in my future home as well and I couldn’t have done it without all the support. From people I’ve provided services for, to the word of mouth recommendations and just by engaging on Facebook with my posts, the response has been incredible.

With some future plans I am trying to set in motion, I would really appreciate anyone that I’ve done work for, if you haven’t already to leave a review on my page that will hopefully draw in new customers and people not in the immediate Minot area.

I hope every one has been having a good summer so far and it continues on and can’t wait to see everyone again this fall ♥️

Got to spend my last weekend with some of my favorites. If you remember from earlier this year, Sadie, Sam and Max were the first clients I had where I had never met them or knew their owner prior to pet sitting for them. So to have them as my last clients before I take a break was kinda full circle. I always enjoy my time with them. Sadie is attached to my side 24/7 no matter what I’m doing and is always so happy and smiling. Max is small but mighty and holds his own around the big dogs when we play which gets kinda funny. My sweet Sam, she does her best to keep up with the others but mostly she enjoys her naps and just laying out on the patio with us. ♥️

B E N J I

Another job completed, another satisfied family. I don’t know what it is, but I just love the times I get to come out to base and do my dog sitting. It’s an entirely different vibe than being in town. Everyone is just so kind. From the people at the visitors center to the gate to everyone I encounter on my walks and even the neighbors I had never met before inviting me over for dinner, it’s just amazing. The views are pretty solid especially during a storm. The neighborhoods are so clean and nice. Most of the houses are decorated all cute unless it’s vacant. The amount of kids you see actually playing outside and running around on bikes it’s like it’s the 90s all over again. I couldn’t even help but notice the amount of adults outside even playing with their kids or interacting with them somehow. It’s just a refreshing and relaxing environment. Okay, I’m done I just had to throw that out there. Now about the dog.

Benji is the cutest and bounciest little bucket of love and if he’s not impressed with you, his face says it all. He took a little bit of time to warm up to me since we were new to each other and he has a little anxiety, but once he realized I wasn’t leaving anytime soon, he decided we could be friends. We spent a lot of time outside since it was so nice the whole time. Luckily, an old co worker of mine and previous dog sitting client lived right across the street, so Benji got to have play dates with one of her dogs while we caught up with each other. They even got to have a little pool party one day. His other favorite things to do are watching Ice Road Truckers and chasing all the dakrats(prairie dogs) and jackrabbits all over the neighborhood. I love the time I got to spend with him but I think he knew it was coming to an end, cause he got super cuddly the last day or so and didn’t leave my side. I know his family is planning to move in the near future but hopefully I will get to see him again one day. Until then, enjoy the pictures of the comical but cute boy, Benji ♥️

Got to spend the weekend with pretty girl Luca again. Lots of early morning, late night walks and pool time to combat the heat we had and trying to dodge the rain but we managed. As long as you’re keeping your dog busy inside and giving them attention and stimulation activities, they won’t even care that they’re not outside. And if you’re not giving Luca attention, she will just steal your shoes until you give it to her 😂

You would think for someone as dog obsessed as me, that I would have encountered all my favorite breeds at some point in my life. This breed has alluded me for years but I still always admired them. I didn’t know what kind of dog I was going to be checking on yesterday until I showed up at the house to do a meet and greet. You can about imagine my surprise when his mom opened the door and I saw this beautiful Vizsla standing upstairs. I was pretty much dying inside. I only got to spend a little bit of time with him but Odin solidified my love for Vizslas. He is so smart and funny and just an all around great dog. He’s also very handsome and makes for a very photogenic boy ♥️

Never a dull moment with this crew. I got to spend a couple of days with them while their family was out of town. Thankfully the weather has finally been nice enough so we had to take advantage and spend lots of time outside to get rid of some of that bulldog and puppy energy. Rowdy and Benji weren’t the biggest fans of their walks but I think they just enjoyed their me time ☺️

Happy Almost May!
Where is the time going? I feel like it was just winter last week! Oh wait it was 😂

Here is my current availability. I am including June in here as well as I believe it will be the last month I will be providing services before taking a little break. I knew the time was going to come just didn’t know when. Now that I’m back working full time and dealing with some personal issues, I just feel it’s best for right now. I love what I have been able to do the last 7 months and all the people and animals I’ve been able to meet but if you know me at all, you know I wanna be able to give 100% to things or they’re not even worth doing and I feel like I’ve been falling short lately by spreading myself too thin.

Hopefully once things quiet down a little, I will be able to start taking on work again. I just wanna let everyone know how appreciative I am of all the support I’ve gotten. I honestly didn’t know how this was going to go when I first started but I’m still mind blown with how much I did in just a short time. Whether you recommended me to someone, engaged with my posts or even had me watch your fur babies, it’s all so appreciated. I’ll keep everyone updated on any future plans. Thank you ♥️

L U C A

Another job, another full circle moment. When I first met Luca and her mom, I thought we were all total strangers. The more and more we talked and I learned how old she was and that she had been adopted, the wheels in my brain started spinning. I finally asked her where she adopted her from and turns out, it was from my previous job but this dog didn’t look familiar at all. Then she told me, well her mom is Ramen, her name was Bok Choy. I couldn’t believe it. Ramen was one of my favorite dogs and I helped take care of her litter before they got adopted. We always wander what mix puppies will look like especially when we didn’t know what one or both of the parents were, but we for sure thought Ramen’s puppies were going to turn out to be massive Pyrenees looking dogs so this was cool to see. I definitely can see Ramen in Luca now though and she even had some of her quirks and is such a sweet dog. I’m so happy we got to reconnect and can’t wait until I can see her again. I had the opportunity to spend the week with this bunch while their family went on a trip to florida(still jealous). Their mom told me the cats probably would do their own thing and not be around much while I was there but they were stuck to my side from day 1. I think I can officially say I’m a cat person now except for when you wake up with a cat laying on your chest staring right into your soul lol. Thankfully the snow all melted this week so me and the dogs spent alot of time outside enjoying the weather ♥️

Happy Friday!!

Just wanted to throw out a reminder if you’re new to the page or just didn’t know, that my services are done in the home of the pet and not my own. I’ve had a lot of inquires lately that aren’t aware of this and I just don’t want anyone to wait last minute to contact me thinking otherwise and it’s too late to make other plans. Ultimately I do hope to move soon so that I can accommodate pets in my own place and I will keep you updated when that happens.

I have also decided to add a stipulation to my services that if you’re going out of town for more than a day or will be away from your house overnight, in house stays will be a requirement. I have no problem doing 1 or 2 check in’s during the day but anything over that gets to be too much with time management, driving and working around my schedule. Also it just makes me feel better that they are being checked on every frequently. I would just feel awful if something were to happen and I could’ve been there to prevent it or help. I hope everyone can understand.

So far every situation I’ve had has been completely different from one another so it’s very difficult to come up with a pricing just off of that sheet alone and trying to be reasonably priced at the same time.

O Z Z Y

Got to venture up to Kenmare for 10 days to hang out with this guy. You ever see a dog and think it looks like a human, well it’s him. I gave him the human name of Dave lol. He is a 1.5 year old Bernedoodle. Another breed I haven’t been around much but he is pretty cool. We went on a bunch of car rides, took in a lot of time on the trail by the river, playing fetch and even got to take a trip to minot with me so I could do a couple things at work. He had a blast running around our yard and playing in all the snow. Of course it wouldn’t be a trip out of town for me, if I didn’t get snowed in so the last couple days were lazy days full of naps and movie marathons, but I don’t think he minded. Can’t thank his owners enough for trusting me with him and hopefully see him again soon. ♥️
