Additional Fees that may apply:
Handling fee for aggressive animals ($5-$20):
Depending on the severity of aggression, there may be an additional fee for aggressive pets, or pets that are generally difficult and result in a prolonged visit. You will be notified of this fee, and at that time we can discuss what steps to take for future visits to help create a better experience for everyone involved. Trip Charges ($5-$20):
A trip charge may be added in the event that you are outside of a 5 mile radius from my location. You will be informed of this fee ahead of time if it is needed. Disclaimer information:
Please note that while I am a Registered Veterinary Technician, I am not here to replace the veterinary care provided by licensed veterinarians. I am not able to diagnose, prescribe, perform surgeries, or administer any injections. While I am able to perform the above services for your pet, if you have any major health concerns please seek the medical advise and care from a daytime veterinarian, an urgent care veterinary facility, or a 24 hour care veterinary facility. Trip Charges:
A trip charge may be added in the event that you are outside of a 5 mile radius from my location. Handling of animals:
Until your pet has become desensitized to the process of the pet-icures or other services, you may be asked to help restrain your pet to help then realize that everything will be ok. If you are physically unable to do so, please let me know at the time of scheduling so that I can plan accordingly to have help available. This allows us to be as efficient as possible and to work with you and your pet to achieve a good outcome of the visit. Aggressive animals:
While I strive to offer a low stress manner of care, some pets just are not very happy with procedures regardless of location of environment. We may be required to utilize muzzles, or other means of restraint such as cat bags, and the dog lift system to help lessen the stress of the pet-icures and allow us to get everything done efficiently and correctly. That being said if your pet is extremely upset and we are unable to perform the pet-icure, you may be requested to see your veterinarian for calming medications and we will reschedule for another time to help desensitize your pet to the pet-icures. Cancellations:
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you are needing to cancel your appointment. In the event that you are not able to provide a 24 hour notice, you may be charged a fee prior to scheduling your next appointment. By providing a 24 hour notice you allow me to arrange the schedule in a manner that makes it most efficient to travel to everyone that is booked for that day. If you no call/no show me, (ie...I get to your place and you are not reachable and not home and did not give me a heads up) then you will be charged full price for the services that were scheduled for that day, and if it happens a 2nd time, then you will have services denied going forward. Please be courteous and communicate with me and I will be more than willing to work around scheduling conflicts as best as I can. Ultimately I want you and your pet to be happy. If you need to cancel your appointment please do so either via text message or email. Those are check most often and I will respond to you to reschedule or make other arrangements. I look forward to being able to work with you and your pets to help achieve a positive outcome so that your pets learn to enjoy or at least tolerate their Tippy Toes Pet-icures.
