****Educational Moment******
Long Line or Pack Pro Lead: These are tools we may use during group play. This is a helpful training tool that allows us to safely guide and manage a behavior without needing to always physically intervene and allows a dog the opportunity to make good choices on their own. It gives the dog a sense of freedom while allowing us to safely maintain control if needed
- for example when a dog gets zoomies, although adorable at home, it can be a safety risk for the dog having zoomies and the dogs in group. It can also be used when working on recall in group, social skills, or helping a dog adjust and build confidence in a group setting. It's all about setting them up for success in a safe and positive way. This does NOT mean your dog is bad or in trouble. Please feel free to ask a team member for additional clarification.
