We had an incredible response on social media a few ago to our post but unfortunately nobody has come forward to be a hospice adopter for Best Friend. We understand that taking in a dog knowing that they don’t have a lot of time left is a really hard choice to make but we know that there’s someone out there with the right circumstances to make this possible. This sweet boy has a heart full of love, but sadly, it’s failing him. Best Friend is in heart failure due to heartworm disease. Despite everything he’s been through, his gentle spirit and loving nature shine bright. We are urgently seeking a hospice adopter to give him the gift of a warm, loving home for the time he has left.I

❄️ Snowy Weather Alert! ❄️Winter wonderland? Sure! But it’s also time to take extra care of your furry friends. Here are 5 important tips for pet owners:1️⃣ Limit Walks: Snow and ice can hurt your dog’s paws. Use pet-safe booties or wash their paws after walks to remove salt and chemicals.2️⃣ No Outdoor Stays: Never leave your pets outside for long periods. Hypothermia is a real danger in freezing temperatures.3️⃣ Dress Warm: Short-haired breeds or senior pets may need a cozy sweater or coat for extra warmth during walks.4️⃣ Check Your Engines: Cats often seek warmth by crawling under car hoods. Knock on the hood or honk before starting your car. We’ve seen several injuries this season already!5️⃣ Keep Outdoor Animals Safe: Bring outdoor pets inside if possible. For animals that must stay outside, provide insulated, windproof shelters and regularly check that water isn’t frozen. Thank you!
A staff member has been lovingly caring for these three cats, helping them regain their health and get ready for adoption.
We shared their story a few weeks ago, and while many pets have found their forever homes since then, these three—White Spot, Luna, and Peanut—are still waiting for their chance.
Due to their strong bond, they do need to be adopted together, so we understand it’s a big commitment however thanks to Afdent - Patient Friendly Dentistry all adoptions fees are waived!!
We’re confident the right family is out there, ready to give them the love and stability they deserve.
Could you help us spread the word.
Can we make it to 200 adoptions before the end of the year with thanks to Afdent - Patient Friendly Dentistry? Please share this reel.
📣 This is White Spot, reaching out with his tiny paws to tug at your heartstrings!
We’re SO close to reaching our goal! All funds raised go directly toward medical bills and veterinary care to save lives. Right now, we’re at $13,145, but we need to hit $15,000 by midnight tonight to make a difference for animals like White Spot.
💖 Every single donation, big or small, helps provide critical care and brings our furry friends closer to finding their forever homes.
Can you help us cross the finish line? White Spot and all his shelter buddies are counting on you!
