Stop by this Saturday December 7 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for snacks, hot chocolate and apple cider! This is your chance to get a behind the scenes view of the clinic! Dr. Probasco's craft room will be abuzz making a Xmas tree decoration for the kids.

Please note: we will be available for pickup of prescriptions and medications but unfortunately will be unable to see appointments.

Several of our staff are on a trip to England to see some sights while attending Continuing Education (CE) sessions at a conference. CE is required to keep their professional credentials as either a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or DVM. Thank you for your dedication to the vet med profession and safe travels to Dr. Probasco, Beth, Jill and Mary… we miss you!!! 🐾 🇬🇧 🐾 🇫🇷

Mishicot Veterinary Clinic will be closed Friday July 26 for the paving of our parking lot. We will reopen Monday at 8:00AM.

UPDATE: Our parking lot is fully accessable after our contractor removed the old asphalt and regraded the gravel base. Reminder, we will be closed Friday for paving. Thank you again for your patience during this process.

During the week of July 22nd, we will be removing and replacing our asphalt parking lot. Mishicot Veterinary Clinic will remain open Monday through Thursday, as normal, and closed Friday July 26 for paving.

The safety of our clients, patients and employees is our greatest concern. To keep everybody safe, there will be periods of time the parking lot may be unavailable for parking due to the contractor loading trucks. We ask you to please allow extra time to get to your appointments; we will offer curbside service for anybody that would prefer (920-755-2115).

Street parking is available on both Park Lane and State Street. We have obtained permission from PK's Auto next door to park vehicles by their car wash. Please respect PK's wishes to not block the car wash lanes.

We apologize for any inconveniences this work may cause our clients and vendors; your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated!!!

Edit...the cat was feral and has been identified and picked up for burial. Thank you all for your concern.

This young cat was found on Hwy B just past Schetter Rd. and before Barthels Rd. between two farm houses. If you know whose cat this is, it's at Mishicot Veterinary Clinic. If not claimed it will be sent out for communal cremation on Monday May 13th as a stray. RIP sweet thing…

Healing thoughts for K9 Xanti as he recovers from his injuries! Get well soon big guy!!! 🐾 💙 🐾 💙 🐾

On January 14th, 2024, K9 Xanti was struck by a car while he was off duty. The accident was immediately reported to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.

Thankfully the driver of the vehicle was not injured. K9 Xanti was taken to the emergency veterinarian service, BluePearl, in Appleton for care following the incident. Fortunately, Xanti appears to only have suffered some minor abrasions and some soreness but has no internal injuries or broken bones. Xanti will be monitored closely and have follow up appointments with his local veterinarian.

We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident while the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.

As always, we would like to thank you for your support of our K9 Program and K9 Xanti and also to BluePearl for the care Xanti received.

The Mishicot Veterinary Clinic will be critically short-staffed the week of December 11-16. We are kindly asking our clients to be understanding and respectful of our staff who are able to work.

We will make every effort to keep existing appointments but it will be necessary to reschedule some. Our ability to take additional drop-off, urgent and emergency appointments will also be extremely limited due to these unforseen circumstances.
