International Cat Rescue Day has been celebrated around the globe since 2019 on March 2 of each year. It is a day to bring awareness about cats in shelters needing loving, forever homes. 🏠

Approximately 3.4 million cats enter U.S. shelters each year, with roughly 2 million adopted out yearly. 🐈

Meet the 🌟DREAM🌟🤩Cat of the Week!🤩 Say hello to 🐾Tinkie🐾!
Tinkie not only has the cutest name, but she’s adorable in every way. Don’t let her petite size fool you, she will always let you know what’s on her mind. She’s super sweet with people and kids. Tinkie gets along with other cats but she’s the boss. She enjoys cat nip toys and chin scratches. It takes her at least a few days to acclimate (she’s great at finding random places to hide) but she ultimately wants to be around people. She will find her favorite person (i.e. the one that feeds and pets her the most) and become their little shadow. Tinkie is such a cute girl that would fit into any family. Apply to meet her today!

✨DREAM✨ 💖Twos-day!💖 - Meet 🌤️Harper Gray & Sky Gray!🌤️
1-year-young siblings, Harper Gray & Sky Gray, do not need to be adopted together but it sure would be great if they could stay together! 2 kitties are twice the fun!
Harper is a friendly, outgoing kitty. She is very curious and loves to investigate everything. She loves pets and will come running to you to ask for them. She will cuddle up on your lap happily.
Sky Gray goes by the name Hunter these days. His gorgeous Russian Blue coat is so soft! Hunter takes longer than his sister to warm to new people but is very affectionate once he is comfortable. He loves crawling under the covers on the bed to curl up for a nap.
Both kitties formerly lived with a dog and were fine with that, and they have lived with each other since they were born.

Hello!  My name is Josie. I just love pets and attention.  I came to DREAM as a mama and had 6 little ones, who have all found their furever homes! have been waiting for my own furever family! My previous humans let me go outside with the street cats and I’m so lucky DREAM took me in!  I am looking for a safe home where I will be kept inside and loved by my people.  I love to sleep with my human and get all the cuddles I can. I am also very talkative and love to keep my human company. I love treats and dangly toys.  I can’t wait to meet you!

Meet the 🌟DREAM🌟🤩Cat of the Week!🤩 Say hello to 🐾Lyra🐾!
LYRA URGENTLY NEEDS A NEW FOSTER HOME ASAP!
Lyra is both sweet and sassy in a mini 6 lb package. Who can blame her? She’s a girl that knows what she wants and needs (back scratches, treats, and meals!) and isn’t afraid to let you know how things should be done to her standards. Her torititude is adorable as she will bat at you (no claws) just to let you know to stop what you’re doing because the boss (Lyra) says no. It takes her a few weeks to warm up but do not doubt that she’s a cuddler at heart. She follows people from room to room craving attention and is happy to sit with you throughout the day. She would do well in a home by herself or cohabitate with another cat. She will just generally keep her distance with other animals but is not aggressive (she just likes her space!). Lyra is allergic to chicken but otherwise, she has a seemingly infinite appetite and will come running when you even attempt to have food (human or cat food) around her. She would make a great addition to a household that loves having a cat full of quirky personality that will make you laugh at all of her tortie antics.

Meet the 🍊OC Register Pet Highlight🍊 Say hello to 🐾Lotus🐾!
Lotus is a beautiful Bombay kitty with a white locket marking on her chest. She thrives as the only cat in the home. Lotus is shy at first and needs time to adjust to a new home. Once she warms up, she will crawl into a lap for snuggles. She also loves to sleep with her human in bed at night. Lotus is a master of squeezing her body into the tightest spaces, almost as if her body were liquid! She came to DREAM Animal Rescue with her four adorable babies. They have all been adopted, and now Lotus is waiting to find her own home. Lotus is a petite and athletic house panther, and is great at using the litter box. She would make a great addition to any family and is looking forward to meeting you. She’s fully vaccinated and  microchipped, and has been tested for FeLV and FIV and treated for worms and fleas.

Meet the 🌟DREAM🌟🤩Cat of the Week!🤩 Say hello to 🐾Whiskee🐾!
Meet Whiskee, the most talkative baker you’ll ever meet. She kneads her biscuits on humans or blankets and loves to curl up on a warm lap for a snuggle and some scratches when she’s done. So far Whiskee has loved every human she’s met. With slow introductions she is okay with dogs, but would prefer to be the only kitty. Once she’s comfortable she’ll let her talkative, sassy personality shine. Whiskee likes to bat at jingly toys and lounge around in her free time.

✨DREAM✨ ❤️ Kitty of the Day❤️ - Meet 🦋Bayu🦋!
Dear wonderful human,
My name is Bayu, and let me tell you, life is pretty pawsome these days! I wasn’t always so lucky though. I used to live on the streets, all skinny and very sick. But then, my dream come true, I found my way to DREAM Animal Rescue!
They took such good care of me here. Now I’m healthy, happy, and full of playful energy! I’m a cream colored tabby with faint orange stripes, and everyone says my purrs are the sweetest. I love to chase after toy mice, swat at those feathery things on strings, and bat bouncy balls around. No litter box surprises here – I never miss the box.
I enjoy playing with the other kitties in my foster home, but secretly, I wouldn’t mind having a whole human to play with too! I love climbing on my cat tree, but snuggling on a lap sounds pretty amazing as well. I’m a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’m very friendly.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion, then look no further! Fill out an application to meet me. Who knows, maybe we’re the purrfect match for each other!

Once she trusts you, she will be the best lap kitty. She loves to be pet and snuggle. She LOVES toys, lasers and her foster siblings. Stasia would do well in a home with other cats or potentially a dog.  She scares easily so she would likely prefer a quieter home with either older children or no children.  She is a great eater, not picky at all and uses the litterbox beautifully.
