A little known fact about him is that he is a professional biscuit maker (mostly his work is on blankets and laps). He wants affection more than food, but he’ll also take the food. He’s a big boy but don’t let his size fool you, he’s very active with tons of energy. He hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t love to chase (flying toys and laser pointers — anything that moves!).He’s curious and will look in every bag and new object in your house but he’s not mischievous, he just wants to know what’s going on. Win gets along with all people and animals. He has a sensitive stomach so he needs a special diet but caring for him is a breeze. 🩷Chicago’s Journey🩷.Beautiful Chicago was rescued by DREAM Animal Rescue from the East Valley Shelter after being dumped with an enlarged abdomen. She had a large mass on her spleen and her body was filling with fluid - she would die without treatment. The only way to save her life was to remove the spleen. Some of her lymph nodes needed to be removed as well. .Her surgery and recovery all went as expected and she is doing great. Unfortunately, the mass on her spleen is cancer and she has mast cell lymphoma. This is a slower growing cancer and there's not much treatment that can be done. We don't know what her future holds, but she has a life expectancy somewhere between 1 year to 5 years. We are hoping it is the latter!.We would love to find her a forever home where she can live out her years in happiness and comfort! She has made a full recovery from surgery and is playing and acting like a kitten, which is a good sign. Please help us in covering the costs for her surgery as they exceeded $4600. DREAM can only rescue animals, including medical cases like Chicago, with donations. Any amount counts! .We have set up fundraisers on both our Facebook and Instagram. Please share our post too!
