Dear Valued Customers of K9 Krazy Grooming,

We hope this message finds you well. We want to provide you with an update regarding the current status of our salon and a change in our contact information.

As you may know, we have been dealing with the aftermath of a fire incident that severely impacted our salon. Since January, we have been working diligently to resolve litigation and rebuild our beloved grooming salon with no end in sight. While this process has been challenging, we remain committed to providing you and your furry companions with the exceptional grooming services you deserve.

In an effort to streamline our operations and cut costs during this trying time, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the use of our previous phone number, 561-220-2610. As of now, the only number you can use to contact us is 949-768-7387. This number is open to texting and calls. This change will help us allocate resources more efficiently as we work towards reopening our salon.

Please rest assured that our dedication to serving you and your pets remains unwavering, and we are committed to keeping you updated on our progress as we move forward. We value your loyalty and are grateful for your understanding and support during this challenging period.

Update as of 3/10/23

We regret to inform you that due to the recent fire damages in our salon
we are forced to permanently close our current location on via fabricante. The safety
and well-being of our clients and staff are our top priority and we cannot risk operating in an unsafe environment.

We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your pets. This has not been an easy situation for us to navigate & we are actively looking for a new location to continue our services. Unfortunately, the build-out of a new salon
will take approximately 6 months to a year.

During this time, we are exploring alternative options to ensure that
our clients' grooming needs are met. We will keep you informed of any
developments and provide updates on our progress. Cori is still grooming and
available for appointments at Bow Wow Beautiful in San Clemente.

In the meantime, we want to express our gratitude for your loyalty and
support. We value your business and the relationships we have built over the years. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact
us. After 6 weeks we finally have access to the K9 Krazy number and it is
available for you to text and call now. That number is (949) 768-7387. But
please be patient as we have hundreds of people trying to reach us.

UPDATE: email will be going out at noon

We finally got some answers and are writing to inform you that K9 Krazy will have to be closed for the next 3 to 6 weeks due to the fire damage.

Unfortunately, the recent fire has caused a significant amount of damage to our facility and we will need time to make the necessary repairs and renovations. Our team is working hard to ensure that we can reopen as soon as possible and provide you with the same high-quality grooming services that you have come to expect from us.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and understand the importance of keeping your furry friends looking and feeling their best. In the meantime, we recommend reaching out to alternative grooming facilities in the area for their services.

We will have Cori and Jackie setup at Bow Wow Beautiful Pet Spa in San Clemente. You can give them a call at 949-702-3130 to get set up. However, we will be reaching out to clients whose appointments had to be cancelled FIRST. I, Lauren, have not come up with a temporary solution for myself but when I do I will certainly let my clients know. I need some time for myself to adjust to what happened.

We will keep you updated on the progress of the repairs and provide a reopening date as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. It will be best to text (561-220-2610) or email us as we have limited access to our voicemails.

Good morning,

Early this morning Nori sushi, our neighbor, experienced a kitchen fire. We had one employee and one dog in the shop that were able to evacuate safely. Unfortunately our shop did get some damage and we will be out of commission for a bit.

Currently working with the fire department and calling our insurance to see when we can get everything fixed and get back up and running.

Thank you for understanding we are doing what we can.

Stress signs....they can be very subtle or are slap in the face obvious.
I know some people do struggle to see signs of stress in their own dogs...and I made this to help show some of the more common ones.

There are plenty of others...
Sniffing....attempting to disengage from a situation by being suddenly very "interested" in a scent.
Tail position.....Wags can mean the opposite to happy and stiff tails, high stiff "flag" tails.
Coat.....It can bristle completely or only in parts, tail, rear rump or along the whole spine.
Hesitancy.....suddenly stopping, changing pace, lowering the head and stretching it out.

Not all are listed and you may know your own dogs stress signals.
It is important to note that some of these signs are also shown when a dog is in a state of excitement....context and situations all need to be taken into account.

It is ok if your dog shows some signs of stress....it is communication and is very valuable information for you to quickly address what is happening, or about to happen.

Stressed dogs tend to have closed mouths and tighter faces, but those closed mouths open when drooling, panting or lifting the lips to give a front mouth grin.
Ear positions should also be looked at, they are often a sign of stress in many dogs...but not all.

I often get asked why I called our business ABC Dogs.

We unfortunately had one of our employees bikes stolen today!!! Someone came between 10-4 pm and snipped the lock! We filed a police report but if our amazing clients could keep an eye out for this blue electric bike and let us know if you see it around town we would really appreciate it! People really suck!! This was her transportation to work :(

Meet Rocco! He’s looking for a fur-ever home. ❤️

Rocco is a 2 year old Golden Retriever. He’s neutered and approximately 60-70lbs. Rocco does great with other dogs and well with kids. He’s your typical happy Golden. 🤗

Can anyone please help this poor guy? He was hit by a car and has been diagnosed with Pneumothorax. He came in as a stray and his owner has not been found. He is at risk of euthanasia, so this is urgent! He is a 2 year old neutered Australian Shepherd that weighs 45 lbs. He has a deep puncture that is causing a collapsed lung. His owner has through 11/3/22 to claim him. If anyone or a rescue can help, please contact one of the options below:
