Animal Urgent Care of South Orange County We know emergencies don't happen according to schedule. We are located in Saddleback Valley adjacent to Mission Viejo Animal Shelter.

That's why we're available to provide urgent care for dogs and cats throughout the night, on weekends and major holidays.

Milo presented to Animal Urgent Care of South OC for straining to urinate, and also urinating outside his litter box.
Milo was examined and we found that he was not able to urinate due to a urethral obstruction.
Here is a video of our team placing his urinary catheter, checking it's placement via radiograph and running an in house urinalysis.

Sometimes during playtime accidents happen. This beautiful dog is named Stella. Stella was playing with another dog and was bit just below her left eye. Her owners was able to bring her in right away for us to surgically repair the bite wound.

We got a visit from one of our staff member's pets. Everyone this is Bento. Bento got to enjoy cruising around the hospital tonight while getting a few snacks along the way.

Scout is a 2 year old, male/neutered Chihuahua Mix who was brought in to Animal Urgent Care for vomiting. Scout had ingested something he shouldn't have and it was causing an obstruction. Dr. Backus and her team were able to take Scout to surgery and safely remove what looked like a palm tree seed or a piece of mulch.

English bulldog got a hold of a something called a Fur Zapper (silicone pet hair remover). Another item which we were able to retrieve by endoscopy.
