❄️ The Cold is Coming ❄️

We NEED FOSTERS to help save lives. All dogs are housed outside. The more dogs we get into foster homes for the duration of the cold weather, the safer all dogs will be. Please open your hearts and homes to keep a dog safe. 🐾

We named her Miriam. She is approximately 1 yr old, a Chocolate Lab mix. Miriam is a very sweet girl. She did not have a microchip or a collar when she arrived at our Mission shelter.

🚨 Urgent: Fosters Needed! 🚨

Meet Bonnie and Clyde, two sweet German Shorthaired Pointer puppies who were abandoned on our property. While we’re not here to judge, we want to remind everyone that abandoning animals is not only heartbreaking—it’s also illegal.

These pups, along with a few nursing moms, urgently need foster homes, especially with the cold weather settling in. ❄️ Bonnie and Clyde have received vaccinations and health checks, but they still need a warm, safe place to stay. We’ll provide everything fosters need—kennels, puppy pads, towels (while supplies last)—and offer full support throughout their stay.

We had a fantastic turnout at our first vaccine clinic of 2025 in the Lower Valley! Thank you to all guests and volunteers. Thank you to of Harlingen for donating food for our team and volunteers.

🧐 Do you recognize this sweet girl?

Selena, in our system, is a female Belgian Malinois, approximately 8 years old. She is a sweet girl who showed up at our Mission shelter this morning. She does not have a microchip and does not have a collar. Selena is extremely underweight. We believe she has been on her own for quite some time.

Selena is on a 72-hour stray hold and is available for owner reclaim. She will be available for rescue, foster, and adoption on Thursday, January 16 at 11am.

This momma arrived with babies 👶 We are looking for a foster that can house 🏠 them until they are ready for their forever home. Momma is a very sweet girl that loves cuddles.

Puppies 🐶 are a week and a half old and still need mom to continue growing strong. We can lend a kennel out and supplies while supplies last.

We are requesting the help of our community. We NEED to get dogs out of the cold and into warm homes. Pack walk Live! 🐶🐶

Pack walks are an effective and safe way to provide pups with exercise, training and socialization🐾

By walking them together we are setting a positive relationship with humans and other dogs!

Do you want to help us? Sign up as a volunteer and assist us walking the pups!

They are at their happiest when they feel they belong to a group.

You can also foster dogs in your home. Especially with the temperatures decreasing.
