Retrieving is a team effort, and the art of “running the dog” is what takes well trained dogs from “nice” to exceptional; from being functional, to being a champion. The dog’s body telegraphs their thinking. Pay close attention and interact with them accordingly.

LITTER ANNOUNCEMENT

Our new girl "Ellie", a stellar daughter of FTW Drumgoose Ironman, out of FTCH Levenghyl Malusi and Int. FTCH Newcam Boss, has been confirmed pregnant from her breeding with FTCH Stauntonvale Moose Milk.

This breeding is one we are most excited about, and is set to produce top notch working companions.

Last weekend, on the day he turned 21 months old, Cypress received his first HRC Finished pass. After having taken 3 months off due to an injury, we are particularly proud of him. There's never a moment in the field where he is not fully engaged and giving us his all. To you, Cypress!

CLIENT DOG HIGHLIGHT

River came to us just over a month ago, with his owner being very frustrated by his lack of drive, lack of discipline and seeming lack of desire to retrieve anything, let alone birds. Well, River just went 4/4 in HRC started tests, earning his SHR title and set the standard for excellence in back to back weekends - all with a wagging tail, and LOADS of effort. He is well on his way to becoming one heck of a gundog. Way to go River!

A muscle-bound, all day dog with an outrageous nose and insatiable bird drive, Faye has found her calling as a flusher. With a natural hunt inside gun range, making a flusher out of Faye came easy, and we never looked back!

The off season is mostly bumper and live bird "hunt-ups" in different cover and wind conditions, to keep her sharp, and we can't wait for Fall to come back around.

Everyone give a warm welcome to Bodie! Bodie just made his journey across the pond, and will be spending the next year and half at West End Kennels, being made up into the elite gundog he was bred to be! Ultimately, he will live with , and his loving family, where he will spend all Fall and Winter chasing fowl across the Western US, and the rest of the year staying sharp and keeping the family well loved. We're already excited about his drive, confidence, focus, willingness to please, and absolute addiction to feathers.

Follow along, as we take Bodie from puppy hood, to breaking ice for late season greenheads.
