This extended weekend afforded me time to repot and prune my portulacaria afra Jade collection. They were all cut back pretty severely.

Anyone else have a Spirea bonsai?
I just picked this out of a clearance section at a few weeks ago and repotted it today. Waiting to prune it because I like the wild look it has.

Made it over to Seattle with my grandmother to and from Montana. We couldn’t have had a more perfect weekend.
I could spend days walking through Dan’s garden asking him about the stories behind all his trees.
One day we will have a “Western Montana Native Bonsai Garden”.
Should I make a kickstarter?

Making bonsai shelving is so easy!

For $67, in Montana, you can make this same shelf setup.
$37 for a douglas fir 2x12x12 board. Have the the store cut it in half for free. Buy 6 cinder blocks at $5 a block.
I have a few 6 of these shelves because they are like building blocks. You can rearrange them and swap them around to make new configurations.
