🐱 Stomatitis in cats is more than just bad breath—it's a painful inflammatory condition that affects the mouth and gums. Cats with stomatitis may have difficulty eating, drool excessively, paw at their mouths, or seem less social due to discomfort. Early diagnosis and treatment can make a huge difference in their quality of life. If your cat is showing signs of oral pain, schedule a dental consultation with Dr. Peterman. Healthy mouths mean happier cats! 🐾❤️
2 weeks ago Dr. Peterman saw Griffin for his progressing stomatitis. Due to severe pain and discomfort, Griffin's owner and Dr. Peterman decided to move forward with full mouth extractions.
This week Dr. Peterman saw Griffin back for his 2 week recheck after his full mouth extractions. Griffin has been eating better, and is being more social. His owner thinks that he seems more comfortable.
