Last night I had the honor of delivering the proceeds from the benefit kitten auction I conducted (and an additional donation from a fellow breeder) to Benny Atwood’s wonderful mother, Eden. We sat in the garden she is building in his honor and talked for hours. There are no words to describe how deeply this woman loves her son, but there is much more going on behind the scenes here. Eden has spent much of her time since Benny’s accident meeting with and talking to his friends, who are really struggling. Our hours’ long conversation last night was sacred to me, but suffice to say, this woman is an amazing human being. She truly cares for others. Her suffering from the loss of her beloved son is immeasurable. I will continue to do all I can to support her and have every expectation that she and I will now be long term friends. ❤️♥️❤️

Lynn LaBarber Speckert and her husband came today to pick up Savannah, the kitten from my benefit auction. I can’t thank you enough for your support! Savannah will bring you many years of love and happiness! Bennie’s Mom, Eden, has built a garden at her home in his memory. We are making plans for me to visit, deliver the proceeds from the auction and sit in the garden together to talk about the life and loss of her beloved son. ❤️

REMINDER - BENEFIT AUCTION FOR KITTEN - BIDS CLOSE MONDAY NIGHT AT MIDNIGHT

Please see my post from 05/14. I am auctioning a kitten. The auction ends Monday night at midnight. All proceeds will go directly to Eden Atwood, the mother of Benny Atwood. Benny was a very good friend of my son, Hunter. Benny passed away on 05/11 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was only 20 years old. This young man was full of life and love. Benny’s mom is heartbroken. She is a wonderful woman and deserves all the support she can get during this terrible time. The kitten being auctioned is not only beautiful, but very people oriented and affectionate. Please consider bidding on her for this very worthy cause. ANNOUNCEMENT - IMPORTANT

Our cat registry association ("TICA") conducted a Ragdoll breed group member vote earlier this year and recently their Board approved a change regarding Ragdoll registry. Beginning May 1, 2025 there will be two breeds that make up the Ragdoll breed group. All blue eyed pointed cats/kittens will be registered as "Ragdolls". All non-traditional colors (minks, sepias and solids) will be registered as "Cherubims". This is essentially two breeds within the same breed group with a single differentiating factor, color of the coat and eyes of the cat/kitten. All cats/kittens that are currently registered or born prior to May 1, 2025 will remain registered as Ragdolls. Those that are born after May 1, 2025 will be registered as either Ragdolls or Cherubims, accordingly. The name of this page is being changed to Tamz Montana Ragdolls and Cherubims in advance of this change in our registry process. I have always been a breeder of both traditional blue eyed pointed Ragdolls and minks, sepias and solids. I will continue to do so going forward. The auction will go until midnight on Memorial Day. All proceeds will go to his Mama, Eden Atwood. I appreciate all of the support that has been received thus far. This tragedy has devastated many.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - BENEFIT AUCTION

My son Hunter lost a very good friend this week. This young man, Benny Atwood, was only 20 years old. He was in a horrific motorcycle accident on May 5th. He was removed from life support on May 11th and passed in his mother’s arms. Four people will continue their lives due to his organ donations, including a teenage boy who received Benny’s heart. There are countless broken hearts in our community over the loss of Benny. When you view the photos of him in this post you will be able to see and feel what an exceptional, loving, full of life young man he was. As a mother myself, I cannot imagine the grief that Benny’s mom and family are enduring. The very last thing Benny’s family needs to worry about right now is the financial toll of this tragedy. In support of Benny’s family and to honor his memory, I am doing a special auction for a TICA registered Ragdoll kitten that I bred here in my cattery. She is an older kitten, as I originally intended to keep her for my breeding program (DOB 10/20/23). Her name is Savannah and there are photos of her below. She is fully vaccinated, wormed and comes with a health guarantee. She is incredibly loving and affectionate. If you have been wanting a Ragdoll here is an opportunity to get this sweet girl and support a family suffering unimaginable loss. The auction for this kitten starts now and will close at midnight on Memorial Day. The minimum bid is $500 ($,1,500 value). 100% of the proceeds of the auction will be delivered directly to Benny’s mom, Eden Atwood. This world was a better place with Benny in it.
