Buy a pumpkin and get a five dollar or less pumpkin for free! We have beautiful pumpkins, and these are the final days of our pumpkin sale! Pick up some apples for applesauce, grab some elderberry syrup and squash!

Farmstand open every day!

Hayrides this Sunday 1-4pm! October 13!

Come to Red Hen Farm and enjoy this beautiful fall weather. Take a hayride, pick out a pumpkin, play some spike ball or co****le, shoot some baskets or score some soccer goals. Enjoy some time, relaxing and soaking in the delight of the season.

Our farmstand boosts of delicious Jonamac apples (good for fresh eating and applesauce). We also have homemade jams and elderberry syrup created by our very own farmer Greg with all of our own produce! We have dried apples, squash, and pumpkins of every size and shape. All grown here. Yeehaw!

**For those of you near and far, a great way to support Farms and Farmers (and your children , and yourself) is to vote!

Please, vote for leaders who will stand up and protect our planet and listen to the people.

Take good courage, knowing that we really can make a difference if we all are determined to be thoughtful, brave and kind.

It's officially Fall! Pumpkins, Apples, Raspberries and…HAYRIDES!

Hello local farm lovers! The harvest is in full tilt here at Red Hen! Despite our freezing temperatures, we have confirmed that the raspberries have survived! Phew! We have also begun, focusing on outfitting one of our trailers for our famous fall hayrides.

The farmstand has normal hours, but if you’d like to join us for hayrides and lawn games and bring-your-own-picnic, come to the farm Saturday and Sunday 4-6pm (October 5 and 6).

Hayrides are $10/person and capped at
$30/ family unit. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Come join the FUN!!

The life of farmers with 2 jobs. Dig out a backyard for a client during the day on Monday and haul in 5 tons of roadbase to compact for patio. Come home Monday evening to cover raspberries for frosr/freeze protection. Final prep on Tuesday morning, lay brick til dark. Being "farm strong" is something we joke about often, but we know in our house that seasons and day length often dictate the pace of life. We feel so lucky to have jobs and a farm that we love with a passion.

We have finished harvesting and bringing in pumpkins of all shapes and sizes from our field. There are some set out now near the farmstand, but the bulk of them will stay in the barn until the colder nights pass. We wish all gardens and farms success in protecting crops through Tuesday. We are cautiously optimistic that berries and apples will come through with a bit of protection

Our 13 year old wanted to document his muscle in the field so he created this quick video of pumpkin load #3 from the field. The boys love the rides in back of the dump truck. All our pumpkins will be available starting this Sunday, along with the fruit you all know about. Thanks for all the support!

Hallelujah! Picking has been steady for about a week now and we have picked many flats for orders already. We are picking between 30 and 40 pints most days for the stand and today we have an extra flat that could be yours if you message us. The quality of berries the last couple days has been, in the spirit of recent debates, the greatest in the history of anyone growing raspberries ever!

Hey everyone! Look what we found yesterday by the farmstand. A little miracle showed up. We have never seen a monarch in Montana. We wanted to share with you as a reminder to pause and notice the little delights that come your way today!
