This is my WHY…all of the countless hours of work and sleepless nights coming together. This foals journey began just under a year ago. I artificially inseminated this foals Dam with shipped semen, then flushed out this perfect embryo at only 8 days old, put it on an airplane where it was picked up then put into the uterus of the recipient (surrogate) mare, and finally today I had the pleasure of foaling the recip mare out to find the most perfect buckskin filly!! This one is destined to be a champion, I can’t wait to watch her grow up.
I am so grateful for my amazing clients that put their trust and confidence in me with their equine reproduction needs. I truly love my job and am blessed that I get to wake up every day and do it.
Today is a great day!

When you find out school is canceled minutes before the kids are supposed to get on the bus, you get two awesome helpers for the day! A huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients that were so nice and welcoming to my kids on a very busy work day, you all are the best! Also a shout out to my kids for being so helpful with catching horses, holding sleepy horse heads, pushing cows up the lead up and whatever else needed to be done. It turned out to be a good Monday.
