We were fortunate enough to have power restored before we opened today, but we've heard there's a lot of folks who may not be back online for another day or two. During the week of June 24th to June 28th, Cats on Broadway will be doing some indoor remodeling and parking lot maintenance. Other than closing early Thursday afternoon, we will be open for pickups and drop offs; however, we won't be conducting any formal appointments during this time.

If you stop by, you may have to park off to the side of the building while the crew is patching and painting our parking lot.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but in the end, everything should look and function even better than before! 😸

We'll miss you, old sign! On Friday it was finally hauled away for recycling. A new sign is already in the works, and we hope to show it to you in the next couple of months. We'd like to thank the good folks at Pacific Steel & Recycling for their help! =^_^=

Here's another pre-surgery video of Pogo from our receptionist Dillan. Pogo is recovering well from her leg amputation. In fact, she wanted to play right away instead of resting! We'll post some post-surgery updates later this week. ❤️

Meet Pogo! Pogo is an adorable kitten who was found on the side of the road and was noticeablely dragging her left foreleg. We took an X-ray of her leg but found no broken bones, so it appeared that she'd somehow sustained significant nerve damage. For the past couple weeks, Pogo has gotten to run around and play at Cats on Broadway while we monitored her for any improvement. Unfortunately, her left limb never showed any sign of mobility or sensation. So, yesterday, we decided to amputate her foreleg to prevent further damage or injury. Pogo did well with the surgery and is spending the weekend recovering. We'll update you on Pogo's progress next week! (In the meantime, our office manager Katrina has given Pogo a new home. Yay!)
