Vaccine clinic this Thursday in Hamilton 🐾

This Thursday! Our team will be partnering with Bitter Root Humane Association to provide core vaccines, rabies vaccines and microchips for dogs and cats. The clinic will be held at BRHA's facility on Fairgrounds Rd. in Hamilton. This free clinic will run from 2:00pm-5:00pm on July 18th — with warm days in the forecast, we ask that you prepare for long wait times and do not feel pressured to arrive exactly at the posted start time (it's often the busiest time of the clinic!). We'd like to extend a huge thank you to both the Banfield Foundation and Petco Love for providing grants that help us provide these much-needed services to our community. We look forward to helping you and your pets on Thursday, July 18th.

Is your pet extra sensitive to fireworks this time of year? 💥

Fourth of July is right around the corner! 🇺🇸 This is your reminder to call your pet's veterinary clinic today to refill any medications your veterinarian has prescribed that might help your pet better deal with the holiday festivities. Calling your clinic early ensures your veterinary team has time to fill medications in advance without issue.

Other solutions include trying a Thunder Shirt to reduce anxiety, playing soft music to muffle loud sounds, and providing long-lasting chews to keep your dog occupied through any noise.

We always recommend making sure you are prepared for noise events that may distress your pet. We advise ensuring your pets are safely inside before loud festivities begin. This time of year, hundreds of dogs and cats become lost after taking off in fear of loud noise.

Ensure your pet has up-to-date ID tags on their collar, as well as an active and updated microchip in the event of an emergency.
As always, we recommend contacting your pet's veterinarian who can advise you on optimal ways to keep your pet comfortable and safe through the holiday ❤️

Catch our next pet vaccine clinic on the Flathead Reservation in Arlee next Tuesday, October 24 from 1-6pm! Offering annual/core and rabies vaccines along with microchipping, we would love to see you and your pet there.

Say hello to Sammy! Sammy is a very handsome, 3.5 year old male Guinea Pig in need of a new home!

Sammy has lived with other Guineas in the past and would LOVE to find another companion to live with. Guinea Pigs are very social critters and love to live in the company of other pigs! Sammy can be shy at first with new people but overall, he is a very sweet boy.
