Trotting Horse Therapeutic Riding is a non profit dedicated to providing therapy riding to Montanans in need. Planned activities for this organization are including, but not limited to:

Hippotherapy, equine-facilitated mental health, youth education, grooming, riding, ground work and stable management. Services in human growth and development to serve wide-ranging audiences for such educational p

urposes as leadership training, team building and other human capacity enhancement skills for the workplace and for daily use through equine interactions.

Cyclists passing a horse are asked to say Hi to alert the horse rider you are there. Don’t get too close & never pass on the inside. When safe, pass wide & slow allowing 2 meters.

After many years and countless riders touched, Jetty Spaghetti aka Miss Jett left Trotting Horse today. She is going back home to reunite with her donkey best friend. Thank you to Christine Dix for allowing us to have Jett for all these years at Trotting Horse. She has taught countless young riders the joy of riding with her endless patience and quiet confidence. Happy retirement, Miss Jett, you have earned it!

Spring riding is just around the corner. March 4th is our first day. We are filling up fast, so get your paperwork in. (Pictured-Barry and Will with Harleigh)

Always nice to get pictures from riders and their families. We received this picture of David Aaron, his mom, Denali and Bill. The family mentioned what a "magical" horse Bill was. P.S. Bill was magical for sure... He passed away earlier this year after many years as Nita's #1. Never forgotten.

March will be here before we know it!. Now is the time to get signed up for the first spring riding session. Check out our updated website for paperwork.. thank you Sarah.

Wednesday night ride with a fun crowd of volunteers. What a finely tuned machine we are!
